Great location to downtown and the beach. Nice quiet neighborhood. Good accommodations and liked the character of the apartment. Listing and description of the apartment was accurate. 4 star rating because AC didn’t cool the apartment well, but overall enjoyed our stay.
Loved that we could walk downtown and to the water. Very clean and comfortable. Would return again for sure!

The apartment was perfect for the weekend. It was very spacious and everything was walkable distance from getting something to eat to going for a walk on the beach. The host was very nice responded fast to any questions. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
This place was perfect for two people. Good location - easy walk to beach, river, and town. Communication with the host was timely and efficient. Had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!
We were itching for a weekend getaway. We are from Illinois and have not traveled to Michigan before. South Haven is such a cute town with small businesses and family friendly activities. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend, wish the weather was a tad warmer, but still had an amazing time nonetheless. This location is in great walking distance to anywhere! For coffee shops, we loved Bean Box coffee and WE coffee. Taste was our favorite restaurant, they had great cocktails and a sushi menu. For activities, the beach, sun setter cruiser, and the Michigan Theater. Additionally, we enjoyed the farmers market downtown and South Pier Creamery for ice cream . Thank you Michael for your communication and keeping a well maintained, clean, and safe atmosphere. We look forward to visiting again in the future.
In town to see our son propose to his girlfriend. Perfect location - we walked to the pier, all the shops & restaurants - our favorites were Taste, Phoenix Street & WE coffee shop. Great apartment - so clean, had everything we needed, didn’t hear our neighbors. Great communication with the owner. Can’t wait to go back!
The apartment was immaculate and exactly how it was described. Perfect weather and we got to take in all South Haven has to offer, beach, water Grady food, delicious cocktails and a wonderful small town vibe
This property is conveniently located to the beach, restaurants, shopping and trails in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. This apartment is in an older home with five others. We barely heard our ‘neighbors’.
Very cool historical house in a great neighborhood and perfect location! The apartment was perfect size for just me, or would be for a couple. Online description was spot on. The inlaid wood floors...OMG! Anyway the host Michael was great, the other tenants were so friendly...I would stay here every summer if i come up there..might just do it!
This rental is a wonderful mix of old and new. The unit retains much of its former life combined with the right amount of modern to make it a delightful place to stay. We mid-60’s couple enjoyed staying here for a couple of relaxing days. We found it very easy to walk to town and we even walked to the beach for 2 spectacular sunsets. The weather was perfect to sit on the front porch for coffee and an afternoon lunch. The neighborhood was quiet and we barely heard other residents in the building. The checkin instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Everything was as pictured. The grill worked out great for us. Michael was very accommodating when I asked for the linens to be washed in scent free detergent. That was a huge plus for me. We really enjoyed our stay here.
We would recommend a book for checkout instructions and other recommendations for the area. Hopefully we did everything right!
This is a cute apartment in a quiet neighborhood, just a few blocks to downtown and the beach. It has a king bed, nice shower with good water pressure, and a kitchen with everything you need. As others have mentioned, it’s an old house converted to apartments, so we occasionally heard the neighbor upstairs, but nothing bothersome. We would definitely stay here again. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and was very detailed about the check in instructions and easy parking.
We spent the 4th of July here, and truly enjoyed this lovely apartment. The description in the listing was exactly what it was like to stay there. The hardwood floors were unique and beautiful. Lots of attention to detail in the newly renovated apartment. We would give cleanliness an A+. We were within walking distance of our favorite shops and restaurants. The host is very communicative and helpful. We will definitely stay there again!
