About this property

Ideal for couples with a central location steps from everything!

This one-bed condo is IDEAL for couples or small families, within steps of everything South Haven offers! This condo is on the second floor of the Harbortown building. Park your car when you get here and don’t move it for the entire stay if you wish…that’s how central this place is! Located within a few hundred feet of restaurants, bars, and shops! Very short walk to South Beach/ lighthouse, and the South Side Transient Marina offering daily boat slip rentals through the Michigan DNR (Visit midnrreservations.com to make slip reservations).

This comfy climate-controlled condo offers a comfy king bed, added closet bunk beds for the little-ones (bunk beds are 30"x70"), and a pull out couch in the living room. The kitchen has everything needed to provide those wishing to eat in with all necessary pots/pans/utensils. Of course for those eating out the condo is ideally located within steps of The Idler, Joes Bar, SuCasa, South Haven Brew Pub, and of course ice cream! Condo also has a washer/dryer for all laundry needs, smart TV's, and the all essential WiFi!

There's a nice balcony overlooking the alley and bank next door providing excellent people watching for the times you are back at the Condo! When you want to go to the beach or for a walk to see the sunset just walk outside the controlled-access building and the harbor is directly across the parking lot. Condo does have a private parking space for busy days, but it's just as simple to use the public parking lot located directly in front of the building (parking in lot is free 24/hr). This condo will provide everything you need for a fun stay in the beautiful Michigan beach town of South Haven whether you come for a couple nights or months.

This condo is in a very busy area during the summer months but is one of only three other condos located up a short flight of stairs on the second floor of the building offering convenience, and privacy.

Love this place!

This was our second stay at this property, and once again, it did not disappoint! The location is absolutely perfect—close to everything - restaurants, shops and the river. The bed is super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a Long Beach day, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. Nate was a great host. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We had the best stay at this property! The building is centrally located to everything - walking distance to the beach, the water, town, restaurants, everything! The place was clean and had EVERYTHING you could need. We had dishes for the kids, toys, beach towels, washer&dryer, etc. The bunk beds and toys were clutch for our 5 and 2 year old boys. Check-in and check-out was easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location downtown South Haven

We enjoyed our stay because you can’t beat the location in South Haven. The layout of the condo is great, it is just a bit dated and could use some upgrades. The king bed is very firm and when the ac is on it blows rather strong so we did not sleep the best but some people would not be as bothered by this. There were blackout curtains in the bedroom which was helpful.

Fantastic location!

The condo was well stocked with anything we could need. It was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the location was hard to beat. The location was central with easy access to shops and restaurants and just a short walk to South Beach.

Excellent location to main thoroughfare in town. Pleasant walk to beach. Very nice condo. Don’t know how it would be for a family (size-wise) but just right for single or couple occupancy.

South Haven Get away

This was a very nice get away for me and my girl. It was a short walk from everything shops and eateries. Then you have the view which was spectacular! Definitely schedule again real soon!

Fantastic location

The location of the property could not be any better; it is close to everything and highly walkable. Parking is basically public lots (super close), but we never had a problem. Alas, there is no view to speak of, but the property was nice; very clean and cozy. We liked it.

Lovely clean unit in a great location!

The property was exactly as advertised and we really enjoyed our stay. The bed and sitting area were very comfortable and the kitchen was great. The location was ideal, just steps from all the restaurants in South Beach, as well as the pier to walk down for sunsets. The unit was clean and updated and very relaxing. We loved it and would recommend to others!

Great Location

The apartment has a great location to most things in South Haven. We stayed in October, so we weren't interested in the beach, but the walk to the beach was reasonable. The bed was a little hard for me, but my wife liked it. Everything you need for cooking is provided. We enjoyed our stay.

What a great time!!

The description is on point! It was a great place for my wife and I to enjoy a long Labor Day weekend in South Haven. It is walking distance to the beach, river, and all the best bars and restaurants. We brought our lawn chairs and spent hours sitting along the mouth of the river relaxing and watching the boat parade. The condo is clean, well-maintained, and the communication was great.

Downtown Stay - South Haven

Nate's property was right in the heart of South Haven. It was walkable to a lot of great restaurants. bars and both of the beaches. We really enjoyed going to the New Holland Tap room a few steps away. Nate's condo is very well appointed. There's a lot of space for a group of 2 or 3 to stay. Nate was very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival. If you're looking for a rental that is right in the downtown area, this is a great option for you.

Reviews are accurate that the king bed and pillows are super comfy. Nicely decorated apt. With South Haven theme. Super nice to walk to shops, restaurants, bars and beach! I was there at Blueberry Festival, and I was so surprised that inside the apt you didn’t get any street noice. Nate was super responsive and helpful. I’ll definitely book again.

A fantastic stay in a great location!

This was an awesome place for myself, my husband, and our 1 year old son to stay for the week. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we could ask for. It even had a few extras that I wouldn't necessarily expect - like blackout curtains and a sound machine in the bedroom, coffee pods in the kitchen, and beach towels for us to use. Parking was easy and the location is fantastic - right downdown and a 5 minute drive to the beach. Nate responded quickly to our messages and adjusted our reservation easily when we needed to shift our dates. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay downtown South Haven!

This is a beautiful condo in the middle of everything downtown South Haven offers. There's an adjacent public parking lot that offers free Parking for guests, as well as the private parking spot.

What makes this property unique

The Boat House features historical pictures of ships that used to visit the South Haven harbor on a regular basis, a nice layout, and convenient amenities. It's perfectly located for entertaining, or walking to everything downtown South Haven offers. There's a nice spot for parking next to the building...or the parking area adjacent to the building offers free public parking (overnight parking is OK). Just walk across the parking lot for a great view of the pier and sunset at night!
