Amazing cabin on such a beautiful property. Everything Shari did in the Cabin was done with intention and you can tell! We can’t wait to come back again.
Wonderful cozy cabin with all the extras! Great location, comfy beds and pillows, full kitchen and laundry! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this little paradise! The host was very friendly and thoughtful. Great stay and we will definitely come back!!!
Loved it! So peaceful, cabin was spotless. Enjoyed our time on the porch in the morning with coffee & of the evening. We got to see triplet fawns. That made our day. Enjoyed meeting & visiting with our host. It was a great stay!
My stay was amazing! Shari was so sweet and welcoming, and the space was warm, comfortable, and in a beautiful location - perfect to be just a few minutes from the center of town, and also with the perfect amount of solitude near the stream, with a gorgeous mountain view.
This little piece of paradise is great for any getaway. The cabin is cozy, comfortable and fully furnished. The hosts take pride in their property and helps their guests to feel at home. While staying there, we saw a family of raccoons living in an old cottonwood tree and a blue heron in the creek which sits adjacent to the cabin.
Great little getaway. No issues with check in. Place was immaculate and well stocked with even coffee and snacks. Host was excellent and there was so much attention to even the smallest details. You can tell they really want you to enjoy your time there. Would highly recommend and if we return to the area I would definitely stay here again.
The cabin is quiet and plenty spacious, well equipped and clean. The occasional train passes nearby, and the sound of the creek was very pleasant. Be aware that the stairs to the bedroom are very steep if you have mobility challenges.
We were impressed with the charm of this cabin and the surroundings. We were not able to stay both nights as planned due to a family emergency, but our hosts were very gracious to us. We would definitely return to this vacation rental.
Great stay in fun cabin. Shari and Mike are very welcoming and are great hosts. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch next to the creek, comfortable bed and it was nice and clean. We will be back.
Shari & Mike are fantastic hosts! We felt so welcomed again & had everything we needed. They're especially good at the small touches that make the cabin top notch, like making sure the temperature was cool & comfortable when we arrived on a particularly hot day, having all we needed for s'mores, and welcoming touches. Shari gave us great inside tips on local spots. We're so glad we got to come back!
This is a cute, well-maintained little cabin on the outskirts of town next to a creek. Mountains in the distance. No traffic. Easy, private access. Clean and cozy!
What a perfect getaway! The scenery, the sound of the creek, the wildlife, the fire pit, and the horses were just a few of the perks we encountered this past weekend at the Creekside Cabin! This property may look small, but is much bigger than it looks. Very cozy and modern. Everything was so clean, and the linens smelled amazing! Loved loved loved our stay there! We will be back! Thank you, Shari!
Cabin has everything you need for a great stay. Mike and Shari live on property which makes it easy to get items resolved and secure local information, if you desire it. Shari makes a mean zucchini bread and Mike bravely removed a hornets nest off the deck. Stairs to the bedroom are very steep and folks with limited mobility should seek other accommodations. I recommend the following - Skyline Drive (3 mile drive on crest of mountain overlooking Cañon City; no guardrails), Old Tunnel Trail, Harding on Main, Pizza Madness and Fremont Provisions. I hope everybody enjoys their stay as much as we did.
Cabin was perfect size, it offered everything we needed. The area was calm and quiet, and the babbling creek made morning coffee so relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, and the cabing was so clean. Definitely an A plus place!

Hosts were attentive but not invasive. We only ran into one them while she was walking her dog. The husband fixed a small problem with the lock soon after I called him. Actually wouldn't mind talking with them both more but didn't want to bother their space either. I am recommending this to coworkers as of this writing. But I will not be telling anyone else because I want this place to be my secret. JK
