5 minutes walk to Shiinamachi sta.
And just one stop from the business district "ikebukuro station".
There is a shopping street along the road.

Yes, but shopping wasn’t the reason for my lowest rating. Advertisement must have used the fish Highlands because the room was way bigger in the photo then in actuality. There was no place to keep our suitcases except on the floor side-by-side by the kitchen and we could not open them unless we picked one up and put it on the bid and opened it there. The shower had lukewarm water only. I couldn’t swing a cat by the tail in that place. Neighbors upstairs and beside us were extremely noisy we couldn’t sleep. Toilet paper is as thin as rice paper. I now understand why the host states in advance, that there will be no refund. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.

Quiet and easy

Convenient to the station and quiet to escape and live like a local. Great neighborhood. Can be confusing to find if you are from the US and it’s your first time in Japan. Essentially make sure the address is correctly given to your ride because the transactions can be off. Overall, the host was accommodating and hospitable.

Good proximity to the train station. The location was very clean. Communication with the owner was good. The wise are very thin. The neighbors were pretty loud.The location has a washer does not have a dryer. It was very humid so the clothes could not dry, even though there was a hanging rack however, there is a laundromat in close proximity down the street. Also the tub was extremely small. I could not fit in it and I’m 5 foot 11 nor could my associate who is 5 foot seven. Also the shower had no curtain so it was difficult to keep the floor dry.
