Centrally located right between three of Mérida’s most visited squares—Parque San Juan, La Ermita, and San Sebastián—Casa Almita was built at the end of the 19th century and has recently been remodeled.

The house features 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, as well as an incredibly spacious backyard and pool that will make you feel as if you’re in an oasis within the city. The house is equipped with all modern amenities and boasts a beautiful, open layout throughout the property.

The space is well laid out with 3 spacious bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, offering plenty of room to spread out and relax. You enter the bright and comfortable living room, which flows into the dining area and modern kitchen. Skylights brighten the space by letting natural light into the living and dining rooms. Two of the bedrooms—one with a queen-sized bed and the other with two twin beds—are adjacent to the dining area, and both feature their own en-suite bathrooms stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Each bedroom is equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioning.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. Purified water is provided, as well as coffee. We provide you with basic kitchen equipment and appliances, including a toaster and coffee maker, so you can start your day with a satisfying breakfast. Coffee, creamer, and sugar are provided—no need to run to the nearest convenience store for these essentials. Both the kitchen and the second bedroom overlook the beautiful pool area (the pool features a shallower section—perfect for young children—separated by a path, with the deeper section on the other side) and the partially shaded patio. In addition to the patio, you can relax on the lounge chairs and soak up some sun in this warm tropical climate. Outside, you’ll find another full bathroom—perfect for rinsing off after a swim—as well as an utility room with a washing machine and dryer. Just past the pool is a private room with a queen-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a desk, tucked away from the rest of the house. With ample space to comfortably sleep 6 people, it’s the perfect home to bring the whole family and enjoy everything this city has to offer.

You have access to the house with total privacy.

Hot water takes a few seconds or a minute to come out of the faucet as it flows through the pipes.
Mérida has a tropical climate (hot and humid), so insects are part of everyday life; however, we have provided extra amenities to make your stay more pleasant.
