This is it - The Grand View Cottage on Bainbridge Island with views of Puget Sound, Cascade Mountains and Seattle Sailing Club. This charming guesthouse nestled in the woods is 5 minutes from the ferry, shopping and restaurants. Newly renovated bath, full kitchen, and washer/dryer. The spacious living/dining area includes a queen size sofa sleeper, automatic blinds for privacy, and a desk. Expansive deck extends the entire front of house to view sailboat regattas, Alaskan cruise ships, submarines and more. Great for yoga retreats. Wifi, 2 flat screen TVs, music, books, games, binoculars and area information provided. Private entrance and parking. Come and enjoy our slice of heaven where the deer, eagles and sea lions play.

I really enjoyed my stay in Peggy and John’s little house. You get to experience the beauty and wonder of the Pacific Northwest with all of its greenery and trees and a view of the water, while at the same time being very close to the Bainbridge Island activities. I will definitely check out its availability for my next trip to the island.

Excellent place for two. Close to downtown area but private . No road noise. Great bed. Excellent WiFi. Nice kitchen. Great deck. Wonderful hosts. For us it was close to relatives.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was located close to the ferry which was convenient for us. We really enjoyed our stay and Peggy and John were receptive and easy to reach if we had a question.

The cottage is a cozy get away a short drive from town at the end of a driveway set back from the Sound above the owner’s house with a peekaboo view. One ample bedroom, full bath, fully furnished kitchen with appliances and utensils, dining area adjacent to large living space. All opens onto a spacious deck.Attention to detail makes the cottage feel special. Everything is provided for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Having a car would be pretty much required as it is quite a walk to town and groceries.We loved the cottage and the quiet.

We’ve stayed in this beautiful cottage multiple times and every time it’s perfect. The place has everything you need, it’s spotless, and Peggy goes the extra step with fresh cut flowers and a plate of cookies to greet you on arrival. Always a 5 star experience!
