Air-conditioning and central heating. All bedrooms with shutters on windows providing full blackout (good for lie-ins and siestas).

The pool is excellent. The Beach is very close. Internally, the bathrooms could do with modernising. The sun-lounger cushions are in need of cleaning, but that could just be end of season issues.

We have been staying in villas in coral bay for the last 7 years and I have to say this one was by far our favourite. The communication from Nicos from start to finish was excellent. The villa itself was very specious, clean and tidy. The patio and pool area is fantastic, lots of space for kids to play outside of the pool also. It was so peaceful just sitting at the patio area of an evening. The only thing I would say is that it would be nice if all the sun beds had cushions. We loved it that much we have booked to return in July next year. Thanks Michelle

A great Villa in a fantastic area in a beautiful country

We loved our stay at the Villa. Very spacious (even with 6 of us), well equipped with a pool big enough for all of us to enjoy at the same time. Location wise it’s around a 15/20 minute walk from Coral Bay main strip but has a lovely beach a stone’s throw away which has a shop and a nice restaurant. There is also a water sports centre there which offers Jet Ski’s and banana boats etc. We only needed property management advice on two occasions both of which were answered and resolved very professionally and quickly. It would be handy if there were a dressing table with mirrors in some or all of the bedrooms and the loungers covers could do with a wash (or replacing). We didn’t use the BBQ but the area looked very well thought out and very useful in the right hands. We hired cars at the Villa but there is a very regular bus service not far that takes you into the main Coral Bay strip and back again (they run quite late, too!). Air con was ice cold, very handy at night. We would have no hesitation to recommend this Villa and would have no problems staying here again in the future.

Location good Close to supermarket, quiet with sea view Instructions for access clear Welcome pack - food/drink/essentials First impressions of villa - disappointing Kitchen dirty Pots, pans, glasses, mix/match, worn, cracked, dirty Dishwasher rusty Kettle cracked - leaked water when pouring Oven overheated - switches itself off when cooking Spent first morning cleaning. Found brown stains and dried ketchup on the sofa throws & lolly sticks under the cushions Cleaned kitchen blinds Had to clean bathrooms and bath mats - towels threadbare Cleaned outside tables, BBQ cabinets and cleared cobwebs from patio. Microwave dated & due upgrade Bathrooms tired and need renovation Pipe work not secured for sink & toilet, ill fitting plug in upstairs basin & faulty shower head fixture - failed to hold position in use. Downstairs Mirror on door poorly secured - should be attached to wall Bedrooms basic but well sized Failed to get sound from TV Multiple sockets in use around TV not good. AC units - different models/controllers difficult to operate; didn’t know if it was wrong programme or faulty. Faulty unit in bedroom was repaired on same day. Very good sized pool, 8 played comfortably in it & was regularly cleaned by friendly pool guy Both patio areas large & well equipped BBQ area good, and well served with gas BBQ. We would like to thank owner & management for allowing us to stay at the villa past our c/o time. Take opportunity to address concerns for future guests & wish Nicos well

Tolle Lage in Peyia

Das Haus war sauber, in 10 Minuten war man zu Fuß am Sandstrand und in 15 bei einem tollen Lokal Antico Portas. Strandhandtücher und Bettwäsche waren reichlich vorhanden, bei Problemen war immer jemand per Telefon zu erreichen. Mit Fernsehen und Internet gab es viele Probleme, einmal gab es kein Wasser und einmal totaler Stromausfall. Der Pool war schön groß und die Außendusche praktisch. Blick von der Dachterrasse toll.

Fabulous choice

We have just come back from an amazing 2 weeks in Villa Antigone. The villa itself was lovely feels like a home from home with everything you need, the outside space, pool and BBQ are exceptional. There was ample space inside and out for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The villa is superbly located; Walking distance (less than 10mins) to a supermarket and ‘Legends’ bar serving good food and drinks. Less than 5mins to Corralia Beach with good value sunbeds and clear blue water. The main strip was a leisurely 30min walk; however there is a taxi rank outside Coral Bay Hotel which charged reasonably. Highly recommend Paphos (Aphrodite) water park for a great day out and also Paphos Harbour. These are both about 30mins drive from the villa but there is local car hire (near Legends bar), taxis as advised and a bus stop near Corralia beach. Simon and his team were top notch at responding to queries with super speedy responses and helpful hints and tips. We would highly recommend Villa Antigone for a superb holiday.

Great space , Great location

Great villa for a large family or 2 families to share. 3 double bedrooms upstairs . One double on the ground floor. Very well equipped inside but it’s the outside space where it excels and that’s where you will probably spend most of your time . Large artificial grass area and patio space so plenty of room to spread out. Lovely pool , about 2 metres at the deep end . 8 sun loungers, Tables and chairs , covered terrace area and an excellent bbq area with 4 bar stools . Lots of pool and patio lighting to set the scene in the evenings . Huge terrace on the first floor that the 3 bedrooms can access . Amazing sunsets visible from there as well as lovely sea views . The villa is a 5 minute walk from the Coral Bay Hotel , Legends Bar , local supermarket and bus stop . Buses run regularly to the ‘Strip ‘ ( 20 minute walk , few minutes on the bus where there are numerous bars and restaurants. Bus goes all the way to Paphos if you don’t have a car or don’t want to drive .Best to use the large supermarket , Philippos 5 minutes in car . Make use of the list of recommended restaurants . Nicos the owner responds quickly to any queries before you arrive and the local management team Simon and Sue also very helpful and respond quickly to any issues. Would certainly stay here again .

Lovely Villa Antigone

On our arrival late at night, we were very pleased to discover the welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, honey and halloumi, not forgetting the bottle of wine! Unfortunately, we also found a few problems resulting from the very recent building works/extension, including no internet connection, no air conditioning in the main bedroom, lights not working in second bedroom, no water coming out of hot taps. We left messages for the owner Nicos and and Melissa, the property manager after midnight , on discovering these issues. They both contacted us first thing in the morning with apologies, and Melissa then arrived with plumber/electrician/ general handyman Dave, and remedied all of these faults. We found the villa very suitable for our needs as a family with 2 teenagers. The beds were comfortable, bed linens and towels good quality, good wardrobe/ storage space, and great to have the 3 bathrooms. Air conditioning and ceiling fans very welcome at night. The living/dining areas were comfortable, though we didn't use these much as spent most time outside. The kitchen was compact but very well stocked with plenty of glasses, crockery and cutlery. The large fridge freezer was ideal, and the dishwasher and washing machine easy to use. The outside space is fabulous; pretty garden area with fruit trees and flowering shrubs, gorgeous scented jasmine on fence, and obviously the great pool- a good size for swimming and a perfect temperature in late May- a nice surprise to have pool towels provided too. There were plenty of sun loungers, although some of these were damaged (I understand that they are being replaced). The spacious patio area with outside table and chairs was fab- and another table and chair set in the garden too. Although the BBQ area was not complete, a good portable BBQ was provided. The new extended upstairs balcony, accessible from the upstairs bedrooms was lovely, with beautiful views over the garden, banana field behind, and out to the sea. Hopefully some outside furniture will be provided for this area too. We had been to Coral bay previously and knew that this area was were we wanted to be- quieter outer edge of Coral Bay, accessible to lively strip if wanted, but within a few minutes walk of 2 good waterfront tavernas and pretty sandy beach below Corallia Beach hotel. Also well positioned for access to Paphos, Akamas penisula and Latchi. We would definitely recommend, and stay at this villa again.

Casa spaziosa e comoda con la spiaggia

Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 adulti e 2 bambini, ci siamo trovati molto bene. La casa è spaziosa, comoda e ben accessoriata. Climatizzazione e ventilatori a soffitto in tutte le camere e nel soggiorno, indispensabili! La piscina è molto grande, davvero bella, così come il giardino con alberi da frutto. La veranda è perfetta per una colazione davanti alla piscina o per pranzare. Posizione: 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia attrezzata. La zona è molto tranquilla, senza casino e rumori. Supermarket a circa 10 minuti a piedi, forse meno. Nelle vicinanze ci sono 3 ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi. Noi NON abbiamo noleggiato l’auto e per andare in altri ristoranti sulla Main Street di coral bay (che si trova a circa 1,8km) chiamavamo un taxi (20€ andata e ritorno, comodissimo!) Bellissima vacanza, sicuramente se dovessimo ritornare a Cipro torneremo in questa casa.

Lovely property

The property was expected ,it was in a superb position/area,lovely pool,great size garden,kitchen rather small as was the dining area but as the weather was great we didn't use the dining area. Unfortunately the 1st impressions weren't that good as although the property had obviously been cleaned the decor was grubby in places,inside the kitchen cupboards hadn't been cleaned. Large cobwebs on the stairs and as the property had been cleaned that morning these should have gone. We are used to a cleaner part way through our holidays and I hadn't taken on board that there wasn't one which wasn't a problem but there was no access to fresh linen and no drying area for us to wash our own sheets. On saying all this I would stay there again as positives outweighed the negatives despite the next door neighbour using his hedge cutter at 7am as we are early risers and we found it funny.

Fantastic, spacious villa in a great location

My wife and I had a lovely holiday in this villa for 10 days with our daughter and my wife's parents. The villa itself is extremely spacious and well appointed, with everything we needed provided. The swimming pool is very large, and the balconies and bedrooms have beautiful views out over the sea. The villa is also in a great location, far enough away from the main Coral Bay strip to be quiet and feel secluded, but close enough to shops, beaches and other services so that you can get everything you need. Nicos was also a brilliant host, responding very quickly to all emails and enquiries before we went, and even offering some very helpful suggestions for local beaches and restaurants. The ones we tried were all lovely, and we're definitely planning a return visit to see the rest.

Lovely villa, great location!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The villa was as described and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfy with good quality bedding. The pool was wonderful and it was great having a deep end and a shallow end which the children could stand up in (often we've stayed in places where the pool has been one depth and too deep for our children to stand up in). The villa is also a very short walk to the beach which was a beautiful sandy beach and very safe for the children. Nicos gave us plenty of information and always replied to emails v quickly. We would love to visit again and had a perfect holiday. Thank you!

Fab! Everything you could want from a villa

Villa Antigone has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Myself, husband and daughter (aged 6) and my parents stayed for 10 nights in July. The location of the villa was perfect for us – in a quiet and peaceful location but with the beach, buses and taxis less than a 5 min stroll away and only a 10 min stroll to a mini market and selection of bars/restaurants. In addition, you can take the bus (€1.50 per adult) or taxi (€8 for a mini bus) down to Coral Bay ‘Strip’ for many more bars and restaurants – probably walkable, but in the heat or with younger children the bus/taxi option is a better bet. On arrival at the villa for the initial ‘big’ shop, it’s worth getting a taxi to the large supermarket in the main area of Coral Bay (again only €8) for a larger selection of everything. The supermarket will deliver you and your groceries back to the villa free of charge (assume subject to a min value). The bus service is great, regular and reliable. We considered hiring a car, but took the bus instead. A day ticket is only €5 per adult and you can travel all day and get on and off as many times as you like. The villa has great facilities including an American fridge/freezer with ice dispenser and an excellent large swimming pool, in which our daughter spent every waking moment! The area around the pool is spacious too with a selection of fruit trees and pretty decorative bushes – providing plenty of opportunities for lizard hunting – my daughter’s new past-time. There are sea views from the patio and both upstairs bedrooms and balconies. The owner, Nicos, was extremely helpful, accommodating and informative from our initial enquiry right through our booking and prior to arrival. The management company were also brilliant – before we arrived they provided information/prices and arranged private transfers and welcome packs. Upon arrival the team really looked after us making sure everything was just as we expected – very friendly and reliable. We would not hesitate to return to the villa in the future or in recommending it to our friends and family.

Perfect for a relaxing family holiday.

We stayed over the Easter holidays with our 2 girls aged 6 and 5. The villa is spacious and well equipped. The pool is fantastic - a great size, private and very clean. Although our stay was early in the season the weather was still lovely - just warm enough for swimming and sun bathing but not too oppressive in the middle of the day that we needed a break. It was also great to be able to take the short walk to Corallia beach for the girls to build sandcastles and make friends as soon as their feet hit the sand. I loved swimming here too - really calm and clear water. We enjoyed driving to Paphos in the evening for dinner but equally found the local supermarket in Coral Bay excellent and enjoyed cooking in the villa too.There are also lots of options for day trips and sights to visit too. Everything is well signposted. Overall, it was just what we needed to recharge our batteries and create some great memories. Nicos was very helpful throughout as were his team in Paphos. They delivered a parasol on our first day and lots of helpful advice. Thank you for a wonderful time.

This villa has got everything you could possibly need and more. Great location peaceful and private but close to beach, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The villa is spacious and clean not to mention beautiful, with a big swimming pool that you can actually swim in. There were six of us (two adults and four teens) but there was plenty of space for everyone without feeling crowded, this was very good as the temperature got up to 100F the week we were there. Nicos was very helpful, replying to emails promptly even giving us a list of his favorite bars restaurants and beaches and was particularly helpful with us being able to stay in the villa till late on checkout day. We would not hesitate to go back to this villa and hope to do so in the future. Many thanks Nicos.

We had a really fantastic relaxing holiday. Plenty to keep our 15 & 8 year old girls occupied. The villa had air con in the lounge and all the bedrooms which was great as the weather was close to 40 degrees every day. The restaurants which were recommended were excellent and there was plenty to do both at coralis beach as well as coral bay. The facilities in the villa were first class with everything from a large fridge freezer to a play station! The pool was large and well equipped and we enjoyed the bar b cue and eating outside on the comfortable terrace. Thank you so much for a great holiday we will definitely return again!

My family and I have just returned from Cyprus. We stayed in this Villa and everything was perfect. The listing doesn't do the property justice. The Villa was clean and had everthing you needed to enjoy your visit. The extra pool towels, umbrellas for the beach and cool bags for picnics are a great touch. The outside area is outstanding, a beautiful garden, very private, not overlooked, peaceful,lovely views from the balconies, banana plantations to rear, quiet road and more plantations to the front. The pool was fab and maintained brilliantly by the management company. Comfy beds, good air con and a play station for when the kids needed to spend a bit of time out of the sun. You could easily stay at this property without a car as there is a supermarket within walking distance and a couple of restaurants. The main Coral Bay area is also walkable but in the heat it is easier to catch the bus which runs every 15 mins. This bus will also take you in to Kato Paphos and from there on to the Market and Water Park. There are operators offering all the trips and tours in the Coral Bay Centre, we used Atlas Travel & Tours (Hannah)to arrange a car for a few days and found there service good. They also offer loads more. The beach is an easy walk form the villa, it was lovely, sandy, clean water and not too busy, perfect for all. We hired a car and explored from the Villa, driving in Cyprus was very easy and we really enjoyed exploring. We had two fantastic meals in Coral King Restaurant, lovely staff and food. The greek dancing night was a hoot!! Samisen (Japanese Teppanyaki) was another fantastic night the children were transfixed with the cooking!! and the food was fab. Both these restaurants are in Coral Bay but there are also so many dotted across the countryside. The owner was very helpful when I was enquiring about the property and the booking process went without a hitch. I would highly recommend this villa, my husband and I along with our two boys 13 and 11 had a great time.
