Wow! What a beautiful place to stay! We came in the summertime, had some AC issues, but the host was VERY prompt in making sure the issue was fixed. This place is quiet and quaint! It had everything we needed! There's a cute little restaurant just a few minutes away that is right on the river, but with a full kitchen and beautiful outdoor dining table, cooking in and enjoying the sound of the river might have been even better! I plan on coming back to enjoy this cute cabin in the woods!

Convenient relaxing pet friendly location

Spacious house with multiple indoor and outdoor conversation areas. Everything is as pictured and described. Convenient location for exploring Blue Ridge Lake and nearby orchards. Relaxing river soundscape. Pet friendly, our large dog was welcome here.

A lovely and secluded retreat!

This property had everything we needed and then some! And the hosts were very responsive to help with anything else that arose. We shopped, ate out, dined in, hiked, played family games, and used the WiFi to stream a cartoon every now and then for the kiddos. Overall it was a memorable way to ring in the new year! Looking forward to returning!

Relaxing and cozy stay

Our family of 4 plus 1 dog stayed here over Thanksgiving and had a really relaxing time. The home had everything we needed. The living room was so cozy with comfy couch and chair plus the fireplace. The kids loved the air hockey table and there is extra game table which we used for doing a puzzle. The beds were very cozy. There are two great sunrooms off of the master and another one off the kitchen/dining room. It was a very peaceful stay. It's about 10-15 mins to the town of Blue Ridge. We went ice skating, to the drive-in move, to Helen, the Blue Ridge Railway and Mercier Orchards. It's down the street from Lily Pad Village where they have mini golf and gem mining for the kids. Very close to many trailheads too. We went to Fall Branch Falls (very crowded) and the (easy) Aska Long Branch Loop Trail (just down the street). My husband also did the more moderate Aska Flat Creek loop which was also very close to the house. Definitely recommend this home for cozy, dog-friendly place close to lots of great activities.
