Something about our building Arcadian II

We are a smaller high rise; Yep only 6 condos per floor. No long waits for the elevator. No running down in the morning to save your lounge chairs at the pool. These issues are never a problem at our building as we have plenty of pool chairs and great elevators. Oh and no bad locations in this building as all are Oceanfront.

Our rear door is only 25 yards to the beach! Large parking lot with spaces close to the entrance! Bellmen Carts by the front door to help you get your luggage in and out.

Arcadian Shores section is right in between Myrtle and North Myrtle Beach in unincorporated Horry County. Our address is in Myrtle Beach but a little distance from the crowds. If you like the crowds on occasion restaurant row is 2 minutes. Barefoot landing is a 5 minute drive and Broadway at the beach about 15 minutes.

Good vacation

Overall condo met our needs for the week. Liked the building was smaller, as we never waited for elevator and beach was not crowded.

We had a great time!

The condo was nice; big and good layout. I wish that I had that much cabinetry in my kitchen!! The bathrooms are recently remodeled.

Wonderful

This was probably the easiest check in process we have had in 7 years of coming to the Apache pier area. The views from kitchen window and balcony are incredible. Everything was decorated so nice. The owner was very prompt in replying . Would love to stay here again !

Vacation

Loved the condo’s location. And that the beach is not very crowded. But the thing with the codes changing all the time is not very fun! And had trouble with the wi-fi, too.

Everything you need!

We've been staying at the Arcadian condos for years, but this was our first time in this unit. It is not the most up to date unit, but one of the best stocked units. Would have liked more than 4 towels for 3 adults staying a week, but we were able to wash them as needed, so not a deal breaker.

The condo was fine. The owners left plenty of things out for our use which was great. The unit does not sleep 8, but 6. The view was great from the balcony. We hesitated to rent a room on the 10th level but was reassured when told there were 2 elevators. Well, one elevator was not working during our entire stay. While trying to repair it an emergency alarm was tripped? I guess? We were never informed that it was a false alarm so we used the stairwell to evacuate twice within a couple of hours. This was detrimental for me as I am recovering from foot surgery and have not regained full mobility. I had difficulty walking on it for the rest of the stay. Sorry, but won’t return to this location. Also could not figure out why everyone else in the building seemed to ignore the alarm. Frank could not tell us what happened.

Nice, but not the best.

Super easy to find and easy check in process. Easy access to the highway and things to do. Pictures are deceiving, thought we had an ocean view master bedroom, we did not. The only shower that had hot water was the master bedroom, and that was gone after one shower. Says it sleeps six, but only three bath towels. Some rooms are updated, but could use plenty more.

Yes the master is in the back of the condo but the living area balcony is Oceanfront. Dining room balcony is Oceanview and the 2nd bedroom balcony is Oceanview. I wish you would have contacted me during your stay as we can take care of anything the same day. The 3 bedroom condos we supply 8 towels, 8 hand towels and 8 wash cloths. As to the showers we could have taken care of it quickly. The same hot water line supplies both bathrooms.

Nice unit but worn

We’ve stayed here a few times, and the furniture is getting worn out. The couch and loveseat need replacing. Kind of feel like you’re sitting on the floor. Some of the mattresses are also dated. The master bath shower doors work poorly. There are some nice upgrades such as the main bathroom has been completely remodeled and it’s beautiful. The unit was clean, and I would probably stay here again if no better option.

I ll check that shower door and see what the problem is. The sofa and love seat are "English Roll Arm" style and are built to be lower then the normal sofas. Supposedly better for lying down reading a book or maybe a nap. They are replacing this fall. I ll check out the mattresses though two of them were bought last summer.

Arcadian 2 - 10th floor

The condo was a great size for our family. Was nice to have a large 'living' area with 2 couches and a chair. However, we did not find the condo as clean as we would have expected. Hairs in the hall bathroom on the commode, the sink and in the shower. The chair in the twin bed room was dirty with something sticky along the side of it; we would not sit in it. There was men beard hairs in the drawers of the master bath. That's probably not something the cleaning crew would check so not really their fault I guess. When I moved the toaster and coffee pot around I noticed crumbs behind them as well as some dust in a few areas on the floor. We did some cleaning and disinfecting once we arrived. I am not submitting this as a complaint -- just thought someone might want to know the cleanliness was a bit below our personal standard especially since we as customers are charged a fee for cleaning. Also it seemed odd that the beds did not have mattress covers. In spite of these small 'bumps' our family enjoyed our visit and find the Arcadian complex a great place. Love the oceanfront location.

Great Property

We had stayed here before and as usual enjoyed everything about this property. Two things: Shower in master may need some work door tracks seem to have come off in places and drain is slow. This one is nothing about this property in general but the pool side bathroom needs a code and there was nothing listing the code. Asked night watchman but code we received seemed to be incorrect. Again nothing bad to say but just giving some heads up on a few things. Thanks again for letting us relas and enjoy the beach while staying in your property

Clean, comfortable condo.

Clean, comfortable corner unit. Had a small issue with the drains, but Frank took care of that quickly. We have stayed at the Arcadian for many years and have never been disappointed. We cooked on this visit more than in years past and appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped.

Excellent Peaceful Get-away

The listing was very true to pictures & information. It is a beautifully decorated and clean condo right at a quiet area of Northern Myrtle Beach. The pool was very clean and never crowded. The balcony had a wonderful view of the ocean & comfortable chairs for us to enjoy in the morning & night. We loved this place & would definitely stay again!
