Perfect getaway!

We had the best time here for my husband's birthday. The house is beautiful and fit our group of friends perfectly. The dock and firepit were huge highlights. Jamie is such a wonderful host and really went out of her way to go above and beyond. Thanks for the perfect weekend!

Hygge Hus

The property and owner were both spectacular. Jamie responded quickly and kindly to all my emails and was more than accommodating. I never felt that I was a bother at all! Hygge Hus is very charming, cozy and has everything you need for a great stay. We had rainy days while we were there but with the pool table, plenty of board games to play and a comfortable place to hangout we were able to make the best of it. We would definitely rent this property again. Mary Jo

Perfect stay! Hygge Hus was perfect for our group of life-long friends looking for a long weekend getaway. Property is just as described with great amenities. It was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking all our meals and we loved being able to enjoy breakfast outside on the deck. We utilized the fire pit for roasting marshmellows and having great conversations. It was a bit chilly for swimming but we did utilize the kayaks that were avaliable and the dock was such a great place to watch the sunset every night. The property was also close enough to drive to parks and trails for hiking and the town of Cold Spring for exploring shops. Jamie was very easy to work with and always responded promptly to any questions we had. We will definitely return again. Highly recommend!

The cabin is beautiful! It had everything we needed and more! Everyone in my family enjoyed it! We had fun playing pool, going down to the lake, preparing and eating meals together, and spending quality time together!!! It is perfect to getaway and enjoy nature!
