Roomy 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house on a 5 acre pond less than a mile from Texoma

PLENTY of space! 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms gives everyone ample space at night to get a good night sleep! One of the bedrooms is a kids room with two beds that each have trundles, a sleeper sofa, an air hockey table, arcade style video game and basketball game. Take the kids out fishing right at the property, on a 5 acre semi-private pond. Lake Texoma's highpoint marina is only 2 and a half miles away and has boat rentals for the big kids to have fun:). The primary bedroom, and both of the top floor bedrooms have access to a balcony overlooking the 5 acre pond. The bottom floor has a kitchen, dining area, and large living space that allows everyone to gather together. The deck, which overlooks the pond, has a gas powered grill. The lower deck has a fire pit for unwinding at night. Three of the bathrooms have showers, and the primary has a shower and a tub.

Property is just under an hour north of McKinney/Frisco/Allen.

I wish I would’ve known that it was a split level home with the kitchen and living room being on the bottom floor. My 80 year old mother had a very hard time getting up and down the stairs. We were celebrating her birthday. Overall, it is a beautiful home.

2-family reunion. Loved the location. .6 miles from The Island Bar and Grill and the boat rental dock. Fire pit and pond fishing! Such an amazing time and gorgeous-spacious property

A Little Piece of Heaven

This house was perfect for our get away. We had the best view and the most adorable house. The kids never got bored and it is big enough for everyone to have their own room! 2 nights was not enough of this little piece of heaven!

The property was beautiful and the location was fantastic. There were a few things that I wish had been a little better, as the nightly rate isn’t cheap. There were lots of millipedes everywhere, and the cleanliness of the property want great (hair in the drain and stuck to wallpapers). The couches in the living room smelled a little of smoke and pet dander. It didn’t feel as luxurious as it looks because of those things, but the host was very communicative and the ammenities were nice.

Was a pretty good stay.

Everything at the home was well set and luckily the weather was also great. The house was neat and clean. The only downside was the Internet which didn't work well with any of the TVs we tried connecting to. The Internet could be better.

Why they chose this property

After Covid, we wanted to take an quick and easy vacation to get out of the house. We found this house to be perfect, since it was less than an hour north of DFW, and had so much fun stuff to do, right at the house.

What makes this property unique

Separate kids room that is also a game room. On site fishing pond, with canoes. An awesome view of the pond in the 3 adult bedrooms, along with a deck that looks over the water. Less than 3 miles from Highport Marina on Lake Texoma, horseback riding and golfing are within a mile. If we don’t have someone staying the day before, we can usually accommodate an early check in
