Lake Raponda is a charming spring-fed lake with clear water, perfect for swimming, paddling, fishing, and water-skiing. Launch your own boat or paddle around the lake with our canoe, 3 kayaks, or 2 paddle-boards. Private dock, lakefront hammock and fire-pit to enjoy the peaceful setting.

The house offers plenty of space to gather with family and friends, with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (capacity for 10 adults and 8 children). Open floor plan with a large living room with fireplace. Lake views from the screened-in porch and large deck with outdoor shower and hot tub. Game room with ping pong and foosball. Board games, video games, and DVD player also provided. The house is wifi equipped and gets cell reception.

Hiking / snowshoeing / biking trails accessible from the house, or explore the charming restaurants and antique shops. Golf and other recreation also nearby.

We loved our time at Lake Raponda. Our kids loved the kayaks and paddle boards. They enjoyed swimming and fishing as well. The hot tub was perfect for cool nights. We also liked that the home was within driving distance of several towns and good restaurants. We did the hike at Molly Stark park and loved the views from the tower.

A gracious and well appointed lakehouse, well suited to our gathering of friends and childrens.Plenty of room for a few families, especially if your kids can fully embrace the bunk room, a little early for ours.It’s a real New England classic, you should stay here!

Beautiful lake and a spacious dock. We fished, kayaked & paddle boarded daily. The walk back up to the house was pretty steep- glad we brought lanterns to light the pathway at night. Lots of spaces for our large family to spread out- the game room, living room, screened porch & deck. We watched an eagle dive into the water & fly off with a fish one morning! The owner communicated with us throughout our stay- answering questions & addressing most concerns in a timely manner.

Great layout for birthday getaway

We rented to celebrate family birthdays. The layout was perfect for hosting a few families with kids of all ages. Even on a rainy day we were all comfortable and entertained inside. The house is simple and equipped with basic needs. There is a Shaw's grocery store less than 10 minutes away in the cutest Vermont town. The host, Ashley, was prompt and professional to any questions/concerns we had.

Great getaway with friends!

This house was everything we had hoped and more to getaway over the holidays with friends and family! We lucked out and had some snow so got to sled right out the back door, ice skate on the lake and enjoyed all of the space indoors to relax and unwind. It was a great location to get to Mount Snow and other breweries/restaurants and this house comfortably fit 2 families with 4 kids ranging 1-10.

Mt Snow Ski Trip

Our group of 16 fit perfectly in this home. The sledding on the property kept the kids entertained when we weren’t at Mt Snow skiing. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and large dining table to play cards. Great location. Beautiful home.

Fun long weekend at the Ski Haus!

This house was absolutely perfect for our group! We skied Mount Snow and Stratton during our stay, both of which were relatively short drives from the house. It snowed the whole time we were there which made for perfect skiing conditions and beautiful scenery. The hot tub was wonderful after long days of skiing! Couldn’t complement the property enough, would definitely recommend staying at the Ski Haus and hope to return in the future!

Family Adventure

We love this property! It is absolutely perfect. We have an annual ski vacation where all extended family cousins are invited to ski, have great family time and relax. This property is perfect for it. The fireplace is warm, the wood is plentiful and the hot tub and game room is filled with fun! The long table is perfect for family meals and game filled evenings.

I was pleasantly surprised that the property was even better than I thought it would be based on the listing. It was clean, everybody commented on how comfortable the beds were, the location was perfect for skiing (13 min to Mt. Snow) and the view was beautiful off the deck. Ashley was also a great host. Bugs

Nice property, but we found multiple spiders, centipedes, and other bugs inside. An exterminator should routinely maintain the property. The beds were very comfortable with mattress toppers. The kitchen was great to cook in with a gas stove, but the frying pans were too small. The house is large with an open floor plan, but it was very loud. If one person is up, everyone is up. The dock and fire pit area were great to hang out on. The lake is beautiful and the trees on the property added to the seclusion of the home. I would definitely recommend, but just bring earplugs and larger cookware.

Lovely Holiday weekend getaway

Ashley's home was so lovely and in such an excellent location! We were a group of friends escaping the city for the long weekend to ski and even though the ski weather was subpar, our experience in the house was great! we enjoyed making meals and eating together at the large dining room table, the bedrooms were all spacious and the hot tub was a nice way to end of the day. Some of the light switches and outlets stopped working on the basement level, but Ashley was quick to help us fix it. We hope to come back for a warm summer weekend.

Great house for a family get meetup

We had 3 generations getting together to celebrate a milestone birthday and the house was able to accommodate the wife age range. The house was spacious enough to feel we were not all on top of each other. The bunk bed room suited the youngest generation very well (likely beds would be too small for teens and older) and the other rooms were well appointed for the other guests. The lake and dock were very nice and the availability of kayaks and paddles boards was great. The fire pit, game room and hot tub were also nice amenities that suited all ages. WiFi is excellent, which was very useful given the SOS data service. Cute downtown area and we would certainly look to stay again if we return to Wilmington VT!

Gorgeous property!

We had an amazing time. The house and property are beautiful. We had a full house with every bed in use. The layout of the house was perfect for our needs. The walk down to the lake is a doozy! But that didn't stop us from swimming and playing in the lake. The extras of canoe, kayaks, and paddle boards were all put to fun use! The fire pit saw dozens of smores being made and cobbled up as well. Our kids and grandkids made some lasting memories! Loved every minute of it!

More to offer than just snowboarding retreat

Perfect location for access to Mount Snow which was about 15 minute drive. Unfortunately, most of the lifts were closed due to rare extreme high winds and snowfall. The house was an inviting, welcoming retreat and the hot tub and game room kept the family entertained since snowboarding was not possible. We would consider bringing a second TV for the downstairs game room, but only because we had 5 adult teen boys and there was ice hockey to watch while playing ping pong. Good news was that the roads were quickly plowed, trees cleared and it felt very safe to travel. There were plenty of places with activities, in the vicinity, to explore when weather interferes with the slopes and we did visit the downtown area, Manchester Center and other locales that were all less than an hour drive. The house and the location were ideal for the circumstances. All in all, we had a great time!

The Perfect Winter House

We stayed at this amazing house for long weekend with 2 other families (6 adults + 8 kids total ranging in age from 1-7). It was everything we could have asked for. We skied at Mt. Snow one day which was only 15 minutes from the house. We spent the rest of the time at the house cooking meals in the spacious kitchen, playing board games and singing karaoke in front of the fire, playing in the snow, and sitting in the jacuzzi overlooking a lake. The older kids had a great time all sleeping in the room downstairs with 3 bunk beds, and the other 4 rooms were big enough to fit the adults and any younger kids. Lastly, Ashley was always responsive and quick to answer any questions. We are already trying to figure out when we can rent this house again. I imagine it's also great year round.

Nice location, needs some TLC

This property was more than fine for our large group. To be honest, the house should be better taken care of for the price. It was not cheap at $1300 night all in. Several railings were rotted and loose, the dock ladder not secure (rotted attachment), bulbs out, spiders and webs everywhere, fans inop, no extra sheets, and a moldy sink back that took the cake. The house was not lockable. The railing to the basement (kids room) was loose. We had a good time. Lake water was clear, temps were great. House got hot from lack of fans and ventilation. Paddle boards and canoe were great. I would expect this house to be in the $500/night range considering it’s upkeep.
