Escape the cares of the world at this stunning 6-bedroom home situated on the shores of a scenic canal in Hatteras Village, North Carolina, USA. Set off the beaten path and featuring breathtaking vistas from all four levels, this home is the relaxing retreat you need. Easy ground-level entry into the foyer makes move-in a breeze. The ground level covered deck and yard on the back of the house provides room for your tackle, beach gear, and watersports equipment. A king bedroom with TV opens onto a semi-private bath with a step-in shower stall. Head out the back door onto the covered deck to soak in the hot tub while watching a colorful sunset over the Pamlico Sound.The second level was designed with family time in mind. The open living and dining area and adjacent kitchen boast water views on three sides. Whip up a family feast in the kitchen with gas stove, breakfast bar, and eat-in breakfast table or take in the breeze on either of the large shaded decks. Picnic on the screened porch for a truly island-style meal. A cozy den with twin beds and deck access and a half bathroom are also on this level. Three spacious bedrooms, each with TV, are on the third level. The king en suite bedroom features a walk-in closet and panoramic views of the sound over pristine wetlands teeming with native flora and fauna. An en suite bedroom with a queen and love seat, as well as a queen bedroom with a semi-private bath are at either end of the hall. The large laundry room with utility sink is also on this level. Take the final staircase up to the loft-level bedroom with double bed, which features unparalleled 360-degree views from ocean to sound and over the serene village of Hatteras.
Spend your days lounging by the private pool with available heat, or set off in your boat from the dock for fishing, clamming, and crabbing to your heart’s content. All the excitement of Hatteras Village is an easy bike or golf-cart ride away, including shopping, dining, and the sandy beach.

Your place was beautiful! We enjoyed the amount of beach towels, the proximity to nice beaches, and great restaurants. There were so many activities to do nearby, we had a wonderful week.

We loved the location. Beautiful setting. Nice house. A few minor things were not 100%, but nothing problematic. Having to dock was wonderful. Very private setting/feel. We would stay here again.

Our party of 9 had an excellent week at the property. Connie is a great communicator and she wowed us by sending maintenance over in a flash to fix a minor problem with a couple of outlets. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. All of the beds were comfortable. We utilized all four of the porch areas and particularly loved being together evenings on the large back deck as the sun set on the marsh. The house has a good collection of games, books and even yoga mats! Our boys fished off the pier and we enjoyed the ease of getting our kayaks into the water from the dock. I highly recommend renting kayaks, bikes and golf carts from Slash Creek Outfitters. They dropped kayaks and bikes to the house before we arrived and picked them up upon our departure. I will say that the living room area has limited seating and wasn't quite enough couch seating for everyone in our group. This was OK for us because there are so many other areas to hang out (hot tub, pool area, dock, side porch, back deck, etc.) We plan to return!
