About this property

Family Chalet on Silver Lake 1 hour from Montreal

Large cottage with a wonderful view on Lake Argenté. Big patio with gazebo. No close neighbor. Dock perfect for swimming. Huge basement with bar, pool table and 60` TV. Fully equipped with recent appliances. All you need to bring is your food&drinks.

4 rooms, 1 at the first level with complete washroom close perfect if you have guest with walking incapacities. Top floor has 3 very large rooms. Basement has the pool table, bar, air hockey table and PS3. Also has a fireplace and 2 sofas and huge 60 inches TV with sound system.

Full house and full land. You can also take walks in public roads. Very quiet place.

You can reach me anytime though phone, email or text message.

You are 20 minutes from Morin Heights where there is a huge IGA (grocery store) and 25 minutes from St-Sauveur. Mont Tremblant is at about 40 minutes. There are full of activities to do all depends of the season. A guide is available with all the activities closed to the cottage upon your reservation.

You can get to the cottage by Lachute or through St-Sauveur.(Highway 15)

We ask you to leave the cottage as much as possible in the same state of cleanness you got it. For instance please wash lines and towels and replace folded in each room upon your departure (if you leave with anything still drying no worries.)

We really enjoyed our time at the house on the lake. Great place to relax and enjoy some water activities as well as a launching pad for biking and hiking in the area. Nice to end the day with a soak in the hot tub thank you, Dennis.

The lake was clean and wonderful. We swam and used our paddle boards. Jumped in the hot tub on the cool nights. Made smores by the fire. We only stayed two nights but it was a perfect get away.

The house was great for our family . Location on the lake was great and lots of great equipment to meet our needs. Size and space of rooms was also excellent. We did find some of the areas not as clean as we like ( kitchen) and some of the property needs work . The balcony wood needed repairs and certain areas of it are not safe for kids. . The host was very responsive.

Amazing Getaway

I can't say enough good things about Denis' cabin on the lake. It was clean, well equipped, and had super comfy beds. Enough room for everyone to have their own space and several places indoors and outdoors to gather.

Perfect getaway!

Just what we were looking for, relaxing getaway, beautiful grounds. Every morning we would see deer all over. The home is exactly as described, very spacious, clean, plenty of room. Planning on going back in the summer!

Wonderful stay

Excellent experience - we have rented a few cottages over the years but Denis’s cottage is the first one we all agree we would come back to the next time we rent a cottage. Lake was amazing and the cottage a great combo of easy comfort and well appointed new bathrooms and beds. Denis well deserves the title of premier host.

The house is perfect for a Family stay. You don't have to worry for any appliances or kitchen stuff. You have a lot of toys and water stuff to enjoy the lake. I give a 5 stars to the place!

Perfect place for a large family gathering

So much room! We were a family of 7 adults, 3 kids and a dog and we all had lots of space. The bedrooms are big and the beds very confortable. It rained all weekend so we were unable to do much outdoors but the hottub was a hit and saved the weekend. Some of the facilities could perhaps use an upgrade or refresh but a lot has already been done (the bathrooms are gorgeous) and as cottage owners ourselves we know that its a never-ending project. Denis was easy to reach, very communicative and super helpful.

Nice stay on the lake

House is fully stocked and there's plenty of space for a large family or a few couples to spend a weekend, without sacrificing room sizes. Property is well maintained. The owner (Denis) is very communicative and easy going. An overall great weekend!
