Beautiful cottage located in St-Adolphe-D'Howard on Lake Garry in the Domaine des Lacs. An exceptional environment to spend a great vacations with family or friends ! About 1 hour from Montreal and 25 minutes from St-Sauveur. The chalet is completely equipped, whit Internet Wi-Fi, 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.

Come and enjoy a view of the lake and warm up by our fireplace ! Ideal place for lovers of downhill skiing, cross-country skiing , snowshoeing and hiking. A walking and snowmobile/ATV trail is located 5 minutes walk from the chalet. Mont-Avalanche is located less than 15 minutes. In spring and summer take a swim in the lake or take a ride in the paddle boat, kayak, or paddle board ! (There are no motor boats on the lake)

* We often have special prices, even in high season.

* It is possible to arrive well before 4pm if there is no departure on the day of your arrival.

*Prices listed include bedding for the 4 beds (sheets, comforters, pillows) soap, toilet paper, shampoo and wood for the indoor and outdoor fireplace.

* Towels and washcloths are not included in the rental.

Lovely place

Well appointed and very comfortable in a lovely location. We had a great stay.Only caution is that the roads in and the laneway can get tricky in winter.

GREAT LONG WEEKEND GETAWAY

Fantastic cottage with nicely appointed furniture and comfy beds. The lake was quiet, clean, weedless and a good size for kids. We really appreciated having access to the water toys as well. The property is steep but has nice stairs and large decks to enjoy the property. Would stay again!!!

Wonderful holiday

We really enjoyed out stay. The house was spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed dining outdoors on the deck, and the awning protected us from the sun. Although there was a heat wave in town, it was cool in the house. The lake is wonderful - clean, calm and quiet, great for swimming or kayaking.

This is a wonderful property that we are happy to return to. The house is spotless, comfortable and well equipped. There is a downstairs suite that can accommodate family and friends, and outdoor decks to enjoy the beautiful lake views. The house kept cool during a heatwave, and the lake temperature was perfect. Claudine, the manager, is very helpful and responsive.

I have to say that Claudine’s cottage was just beautiful. Clean, functional, well equipped from dock to kitchen. Claudine was thoughtful and attentive. I would rent this place again in the blink of an eye.

Beautiful lake and comfortable house

The setting and views of the lake are beautiful, and you have everything you need for a relaxing and active holiday - swimming, hiking, kayaking and stand-up paddleboard. The deck with its fireplace will delight adults and children. The house is spotless and the property manager is very responsive. We particularly appreciated the privacy provided by the big trees that shield the property from the neighbours.

Fantastic quick getaway

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was spotless and exactly as advertised. The cottage itself was perfect for our family of 5 and our teens really enjoyed the loft space. The several levels of outdoor space was really great. We had BBQ dinners on the top deck just off the main floor, enjoyed lunch and a lovely evening fire on the “middle” deck, and spent several hours on the dock. We enjoyed the kayaks, SUP, and paddle boat, and the lake was just perfect for swimming. All-in-all, a wonderful 3 day stay!

A wonderful holiday

The cottage is very well equipped for fun and relaxing. We had a great time swimming in the lake and kayaking. The lake is quiet and there are no loud motor boats or jet skis. We were able to cook and barbecue with an excellent selection of plates, cooking utensils, etc. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom provide a private suite for family/friends, with their own patio door and access to the lake. Everything is clean and thoughtfully arranged. Claudine, the host, is very responsive.

Exceptional experience

I rented this property for a New Year’s family getaway. My 12-year old son, my wife and I had a wonderful time. Beautiful house, with access to Gary Lake and fun outdoor activities. We really enjoyed tube sliding right on the property. I am also very pleased with how we were serviced by the owner, Claudine. She provided us with clear communications before our arrival and made sure, during our stay, that everything was going well and that we were happy with the house. Thank you very much! Another beautiful weekend!

This was our second stay and we once again had an amazing long weekend. The location is stunning--a beautiful, quiet lake with so many great water activities provided. Claudine's property is immaculate and the kitchen is fully equipped. We loved watching the local blue heron from the kayaks, swimming in the clear lake, playing family games, and spending evenings by the fire. I couldn't recommend this idyllic spot more!

Perfect Cottage

It was exactly as advertised and one of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed at. The lake is small and quiet, and it's located close enough to go shopping, dining, and get whatever you need. I highly recommend this property.

Bonjour Claudine, On a bien aimé votre chalet. Moderne, grand, propre, bien équipé, bien insonorisé, joli, agréable, chaises longues super confortables à l’extérieur. La seule chose que j’ai moins aimée, c’est l’accès au lac au bout du quai, sans accès graduel. Avec un bébé de 9 mois, c’était compliqué. Mais je n’avais rien demandé à ce sujet au moment où j’ai réservé, ce que j’aurais pu faire. Merci encore, On a beaucoup aimé notre séjour.

Perfect for all ages

This cottage is absolutely stunning. It is so beautifully maintained, and is set up brilliantly for every age group. We had family members that ranged from 4 months-70 years old and the cottage was perfect for all of us. Such a quiet, and beautifully pristine lake. The water toys were such fun, and we loved spending the September evenings by the fire. We also found great places to walk through the woods in the surrounding area, there were fun games in the cottage, and a spectacular kitchen for cooking. Claudine was superb at communicating with us all through the rental process. We couldn't have been happier with this experience and definitely plan on coming back as soon as possible!!

Beautiful Cottage

As a family of five adults from the UK we really enjoyed our stay in St-Adolphe-D'Howard. We picked this location as it was between Mont Tremblant and Saint Sauveur (Les Sommets) - we planned to ski both. We did lose a day due to extreme weather, but the cottage was so nice that it didn't matter too much that we couldn't get out. We lit the fire, played games, drunk wine and hunkered down. We'd love to go back one day - but in the Summer. There's so much to do in the area within a 30-40 minute drive. Just got back home and missing it already.
