About this property

Authentic Maine Sporting Camp Cabin on the Shores of South Branch Lake

South Branch Lake Camps is the second oldest running sporting camp in Maine, with our oldest original cabin dating back to 1898. Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Carl Yaz and Carlton Fisk, Bobby Orr and Bass co-founder Jerry McKinnis were all guests of the camp back in the day. Located less than an hour North of Bangor with easy access to I-95. There are 11 different cabins available with 1800' of pristine shoreline, multiple docks, a rec center/game room with poker, pool and foosball tables, community firepit, a large screened-in country porch at the main lodge, providing guests one of the most memorable Northwoods Maine lodging experiences. Guests have described this camp as their "second home" and "a throwback to a simpler time." The lake is world renown for some of the best Large and Smallmouth bass fishing. Each cabin has it's own half bath. Private showers are in close proximity to each cabin. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature at its finest with our resident loons, birds and bullfrogs. Book now and enjoy everything this classic Maine camp has to offer.
