About the host
Hosted by Jon & Rebecca
Hi, we're Jon and Rebecca. We live in London with our little daughter and son, and are great lovers of Italy, and in particular of this beautiful region. We're proud to offer our house in Galatina for you to enjoy too.
Why they chose this property
It's a lovely house to stay in, to enjoy the town and to use as a base for exploring the Salento region. The large, private orchard garden is a very rare and beautiful feature in a centro storico, while the roof terrace is perfect for cocktails in the evening sun. There is a great deal of space, peace and privacy, yet it's located in the historic centre of a beautiful town with all of the convenience of nearby restaurants, shops and markets.
What makes this property unique
This beautiful region is famous for its landscape and climate, its rich history, the warmth of its people and deep appreciation for fresh, locally-grown food. We love the baroque architecture of the historic centre, as well as the fact that the community has a very active social calendar with festivals all year long. And we're bang in the middle of the beautiful Salento region, with easy access to the many stunning beaches on both the Ionian and Adriatic coasts.
