The property was very clean, comfortable and cozy plus well stocked with needed items. It’s definitely walkable to the downtown restaurants and shops. Best part was once downtown, you’re staring right at the beautiful marina! Highly recommend.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Jamestown. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, and has everything you could possibly need. It's just a short walk into town, to the restaurants, shops and ferry, and a quick drive to Newport. We had a great week.

We were very happy with the home's proximity to shops, restaurants and the waterfront. Being able to walk to everything was a highlight, and we enjoyed not having to drive while we were there. Communication with the host was easy and prompt.

Great cottage with a great location

You can’t go wrong staying on Jamestown and this cottage is a perfect home base. The kitchen was well appointed and the back deck made relaxing easy. We will definitely be back!

Great little spot.

We stayed 2 nights. Close proximity to Jamestown points of interest and easy access to Newport. The home is well stocked and comfortable. The hosts are very responsive!

Can’t Wait to Come Back

This home was perfect for our family getaway. The house had everything we needed and Paul was very responsive and helpful. The house is located in an adorable, laid back town-we felt right at home! The location is also perfect for excursions to Newport, local state parks, and other small coastal towns.

Great Rental at Edge of Jamestown Village

Very quiet neighborhood within two-block walk of the restaurants and shops along Narragansett Ave. in Jamestown Village. Paul is an excellent host for this 2-BR/1.5 BA house on Cole St. The beds, linens, towels, and kitchen provisions were great. We enjoyed sitting on the spacious back deck for breakfasts. We had a great 4-night stay and highly recommend Paul's rental as a great value given the quality and location.

This was the perfect property for a girl's weekend in Newport. The property was spotless and well appointed. The front porch was perfect for coffee and reading in the morning and cocktails before bed. There are a bunch of restaurants very close (Beech was amazing) and a grocery store with everything you could need right around the corner. It was only a quick trip over the bridge to Thames Street and a tiny bit farther to the mansions.The host was very responsive and the house made the trip perfect!

Great area

This house is in a great area. It was very walkable to everything I needed. The description mentioned a fully fenced yard for pets but it is only fenced in on 3 sides so I was very glad I had my long lines with me. Overall it was a great stay and the host was very responsive.

Property was perfect for our stay. It was super clean and exactly as described. We did notice that the stairs to the second floor are a little steep - we didn’t have any trouble with them, but our older dog was a little hesitant at first. We’ll definitely be back when we need a place to stay in town!

Walkable neighborhood

This property works well for us as far as location, restaurants/ cafes, local grocery and local parks to take our dog especially the lighthouse. Kitchen was well stocked, if I decided to cook. The only thing I would have liked is to have the back entirelly enclosed, so I could let my dog off leash

A perfect RI weekend

The house was in a great location, spotless, well tended, completely equipped with everything needed. Everything worked. It was extremely quiet and in a nice neighborhood. Layout was fantastic. Written directions simple but thorough. We easily walked to Mackerel Cove beach but could have driven and parked if we wanted. My adult daughter and I had a relaxing, fun weekend. Hope to go back.

We loved this cottage and will be back! This home hit all the marks on the picky things I care about: enough wall hooks in foyer, bathroom and anywhere an item would need to be hung; clean floor rugs in the bathroom; more than one roll of paper towels in the kitchen; extra blankets; newer pillows on the bed; a pet bed in the living area, a washer & dryer, a three-sides- fenced backyard; and every kitchen item we could possibly need. The bonus was the one-click gas fireplace. We used it a lot! The home was in walking distance to the marina, restaurants and shops. McQuade’s Grocery Store was about a block away. It provided our Thanksgiving Meal. Owner Paul was easy to communicate with and he responded quickly to questions. We would definitely stay here again due to location, cleanliness, convenience and price.

A Perfect Stay in Jamestown Our stay in Jamestown was nothing short of exceptional.
