This home is so cozy and so comfortable- I even extended my stay one night! Great location, comfy bed, super hot shower Bonus is that the owner is the first woman winner of the Terlingua Chili Cookoff! Terlingua and Big Bend are my favorite places in the WORLD!
We were there for 3 nights and were so pleased with the cottage. It was a quiet, comfortable respite at the end of the day after the busy-ness of Main Street and seeing the surrounding area. Everything was spotless and clean, we loved the quirkiness of the interior, and parking on the property was so convenient and appreciated. If in Fredericksburg again, we will surely stay here again. Thank you, Dawn!
Check-in was easy. Home was super-clean. Location was great: Walked two blocks to dinner at Jack's Chop House and the Crossroads Saloon. Good value for the money. Generous refund policy. We were surprised when we arrived to find that this was an owner-occupied property. This home has a two story extension on the rear of the property which we would have discovered had we checked out Google Street-View. Parking was not a problem. Owner was quiet and unobtrusive.
