The Cajun Chateau is the perfect rustic get-away!

At the Cajun Chateau, you will have access to the entire 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin, which also includes 2 sleeping lofts. You can relax on the side deck in the large screen porch or unwind on the lower deck porch swing. This property also has river access with new wing docks and an aluminum covered boat lift that is accessible to guests. During the winter months, cozy up next to the large outdoor firepit! Guests also have access to the community pool located a short walk or golf cart ride away.

Newly renovated cabin. New luxury vinyl Tivoli tile in den/ dining & hall area, new central heat & AC mini-split, all new bedding, new landscape stairs, updated boat lift, new wing docks, updated large screen porch, updated lower deck w/ new fan, 2 new fold a benches, and new dual Keurig coffee maker.

Pick up some bait from a nearby locally owned bait shop and find out why this area is known as the sportsman’s paradise. We do recommend that you have a LA fishing license. Life jackets are NOT provided, so please bring your own, use extreme caution while on the deck (especially with small children), and follow all boating and safety regulations. The cabin was the perfect setting for truly relaxing and enjoying the simplicity and beauty of the area! We even decided to forego the festival to which we planned to go... We just stayed at the cabin the entire time :) It was really nice to have 2 bathrooms. The screened porch and open porch (underneath) were both utilized. Thanks for having us!

We had a wonderful time on our day at the Cajun Château. Dennis was very attentive and helpful when small things arose, I would recommend this property to anyone with a desire for a nice quiet vacation and a beautiful part of the country.

July 4th celebration

REAL louisiana cajun bayou experience

If your looking for a true cajun bayou experience this is the place. Quaint little camp right on the gorgous Diversion Canal, tucked away in the swamp. Was raied right down the road, but living in denver for the past 8 years and was everything i miss about home. Taking the golf cart down the trail to the house makes it even better. Very quiet, other camps aroumd the people are very friendly amd glad to lend a hamd if needed. Definitely not a luxury place but if your in the bayou your lookong for that anyway. Fish from the dock and have you a great fresh meal right from the river. 10/10 would recommend amd will definitely stay again a true river camp experience is hard to beat. A little cramped of room fpr 7-8 people but its do-able. We didnt have issues. The dock on the river is very large and has a boat lift or plenty of space to tie up to. Fire pit/ and bbq pit are available also. Loved the large outdoor dinning are that was screened in overlooking the dock for great views. Owners were very responsive and helpful with any questions or problems. Plenty of wildlife to watch as well
