The property was as advertised, in the right location and with just the right amount of room for us to be comfortable and able to spend time overnight with family.
We had a wonderful stay at this property with our large family, ranging in age from 18 months to 80 years old! The home was clean, beautifully updated, and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The location couldn’t have been better—right on the lake with gorgeous views and easy access to the water. We especially loved using the kayaks and gathering around the fire pit in the evenings. It was the perfect setting for quality family time, and everyone—from the toddlers to the grandparents—had an amazing experience.A big thank you to Jeremy & Melody for being such great hosts. We’ll definitely be returning to this property for future family getaways!
Love the property. Great location close to 94. Amazing amenities. Our family of 12 had an awesome time playing games around the huge dining room table and having an epic ping pong tournament. Overall would highly recommend this property to others!
We had a girls weekend and stayed here. VERY clean. Comfortable beds. Would definitely come back again. It was chilly when there so we didn't get spend time out on the deck or use the fire pit. Would definitely return.
It is exactly as advertised --was clean, well-appointed and delightful to be at the firepit in the evening. The best part was the owner -- Jeremy was an excellent communicator. There were some hiccups in our reservation due to my mistake -- and he was very accommodating and easy to work with. I would stay here again!
We all enjoyed this cabin on the lake. It was well-equipped. The kids loved the bunk room. Alot of space which worked well for our crew as room to play and visit but also well thought out for time together for meals and crafts. We will stay again if in the area. It did not matter to us, but for some it may, we did not have access to a washer/dryer and there is also no dishwasher. Again, we would stay given the location and other amenities in the house.
Our family stayed for a celebration of our parents 50th wedding anniversary. The views were a 5 star! The mattresses were a 5 star! The value of the home and price we paid were a 3 star. So, we give it an average of a 4 star. The photos online do not represent the home fairly. It has not been well taken care of. The photos show bright, clear, well kept filtered photos. In actuality it was not well loved. We understood wear and tear from living at the ocean, however the pictures show beautiful dining room furniture vs the reality of hard chairs. Some of the cabinets don’t have doors on them. The gutter was falling off and showing through our window. The pool railing and wood benches were rotting. Overall, it just felt like the home had not seen love and updated decor in years. Again, we slept well despite not having blinds in any part of the home and the views really made up for the lack of attention to detail. We paid 6,000 for 5 nights; we all felt like 4,000 would have been a more fair price.

Welcome! My wife, Melody, and I are so glad to be your hosts. We've enjoyed growing up on the lakes of Minnesota and hope your family will make cherished memories at our home.
Why they chose this property
Our lake home offers the unique experience of being on a clean, quiet lake in rural Minnesota. Less populated and less busy than most in the area, it's a fantastic lake for fishing and kayaking/canoeing to watch the loons. When you want to get the kids out on the water there's plenty of space to make some waves for skiing and tubing. Truly a "one size fits all" body of water!
