Our lake house is located in incomparable Sandpoint, Idaho. Sandpoint was voted the 'Most beautiful small town in America' in 2011 by USA Today and will blow you away with natural beauty, friendly people, abundant activities and a great food scene! Our lake house is an easy stroll from all the amenities of downtown Sandpoint but still has a private location right on your own sandy beach beside the beautiful waters of Lake Pend Oreille. Does your perfect vacation fantasy sound anything like one of these:
- Parking your car when you arrive and not having to get in it again until you leave?
- Waking up to sunrise over the lake and enjoying a coffee on your lounger complete with 270 degree views of the lake and mountains?

Sandpoint is blessed with some diverse, delicious and affordable restaurants that are a few blocks away. Want to grab an ice cream and people watch? City beach is a 10 minute walk. Feel like shopping? The downtown business district which is full of unique shops is a short stroll. Other local attractions include Schweitzer Mountain Resort (20 minute drive), Silverwood amusement park (30 minute drive) and the Sandpoint Marina.

We are an active family, now with grown up children who all love the water, skiing and boarding. Our family time is a top priority and we have found no place we enjoy more than Sandpoint. Come and make some unforgettable memories at our lake house in Sandpoint.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Sandpoint & the Lake Pend Oreille area when we first drove through in 2006. The lake is one of the most spectacular places we have visited in North America. Sandpoint has an incredible atmosphere year round that changes with the seasons. There are so many great restaurants and downtown is alive with great local live music.
Schweitzer Mountain Resort is an easy 20 minute drive and has some of the best skiing and riding we have found. Schweitzer is a real hidden gem with great amenities. Even on a busy weekend there is lots of room to carve your own route down the mountain and you will never wait long in a lift line.

What makes this property unique
Our professional and family activities really keep us busy and it is such a pleasure to go to Sandpoint, park the car and hardly need to touch it again until we leave. Everything you want to do is right at your doorstep or a pleasant walk away.
One of our favorite outings, and one we try and do every summer, is to take the boat down the lake to Hope or west to Dover Bay Marina and have an unforgettable meal at one of the great lakeside restaurants. The late afternoon boat ride, sunset, dinner and trip back is always a memorable highlight.
Our brand new hot tub is already a favorite and makes for a memorable way to enjoy the lake in both winter and summer.
