The Space:

This delightful 2-bedroom rental is perfectly situated across from the beach, offering you the ultimate seaside escape. The living area is tastefully decorated, creating a cozy space to unwind and plan your beach excursions. The living room contains a pull-out sectional sleeper with two accent chairs, built in kitchen seating and a Smart TV. The primary bedroom is a serene retreat with a comfortable queen-sized bed, custom closet with clothes storage and private bath. The second bedroom contains a twin over full bunk with underbed storage and private bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances.

While the 2024 hurricane season was devastating, it also provided the opportunity for a floor to ceiling renovation of this vacation rental. This unit is how fully restored and better than ever, featuring all-new interior finishes, updated systems, modern amenities, and thoughtfully curated design details throughout.

All units are accessed via our lush, red brick tropical courtyard with seating areas for outdoor relaxing /dining and gas grills. Washer and dryer are available on site for no additional charge. Each unit is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella and has access to our shared beach carts and fishing equipment. Property is equipped with an outdoor shower.

Location was spectacular and so close to everything! On the quiet end but only a few short blocks walk to Bridge Street, seconds from the beach with everything we needed. Small, but exactly what our family of 3 needed! Thank you for sharing you lovely place with us!

Beautiful place

Nice place to stay. Just steps away from the bow to the right where you can watch the sunrise on the pier on a bench. And just steps away from the beautiful ocean to the left. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. If you need the trolly it’s right at the end of street which a lot of ppl use. Place was clean with everything need to cook and a washer and dryer outback. Easy communication with host and booking was smooth. Highly recommend! Would definitely stay again !

Stayed in Unit 4, First week of June.

Stayed a week. Place is amazing. Great place to stay and could not ask for a better location to beach and down town. Walked everywhere. Already looking at booking for next year with a larger family group. I only gave 3 stars for check in, but that may have been our issue not clarifying before we arrived on how to check in. Not a negative thing about the place.

Clean and Welcoming Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this little bungalow. The unit has been updated recently and furnishings were new. It was well equipped with everything we needed and the unit was spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the private patio. We found access to the beach convenient, great restaurants and Bridge St. within walking distance. The beach chairs, towels and wagon to transport everything was a bonus. The unit is on a quiet street and the owner has put thought into making your stay great.

Great location

We had a great time. The location was great and close to the beach. The beach equipment were awesome. My kids loved the beach toys and the beach chair was great! Only downside was the bathroom. As the only bathroom it was not the best. The renovations to the roof didn't bother me…it just was generally small and dated. The laundry was also never free. Overall it worked for a small vacation.

Owner called one week before our arrival date to cancel. Her explanation was that her furniture wasn't being delivered on time. She also said the property was damaged by last year's hurricane and it took longer than expected to repair. She had no explanation as to why she had the property listed when it wasn't ready for occupancy. She did issue a full refund but we still ended up paying more the another property and needed to pay for additional cancelation insurance.

July 2024 Visit

Great location on a quiet road, just a minute from the beach and 5 minute walk to the restaurants in Bradenton Beach. Parking spot was right there, although we didn't use the car much as the trolley stop was at the end of the street. The apartment was small, but very clean and had plenty of both beach and bath towels and everything we needed. The outdoor space was lovely with bbqs and seating in the courtyard. There were beach chairs etc we could borrow to use at the beach. The owner was always helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent property & location

Small but quaint and clean. Excellent location...walking distance to bayside dock (great sunrise spot), beach and the shopping and restaurant district. Beach chairs provided. Nice screened in porch and very cool courtyard area with grill. It is a downstairs unit. We experienced slight noise problem but was just one couple above. However might could be an issue depending on who/how many was above. We would definitely stay again!

There was a new central A/C installed in the unit above you which can be a bit of a noise making process. We only rent the unit on next floor to couples, thus never a concern for noise from tap dancing kids etc. lol. Thanks for mentioning our rental cleanliness, excellent location, beautiful lighted screened in porch and our very peaceful tropical courtyard!! Most of all, I'm so delighted that you will be returning again!!

The perfect vacation spot

Our family spent a week at this location, and it was wonderful. The home was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. Our teenagers enjoyed the rec room, and all of the provided games. We appreciated having several different options for outdoor space--the sitting areas on the front porch, the shaded side yard, and the screened-in back patio. The location of the property is excellent. Just a few steps to the beach with all of the provided beach gear, and lots a great restaurants also within walking distance. Anna Maria Island is the kind of place where you can be as busy or as quiet as you want to be. Mark checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going well; it is reassuring to know that if we had any issue, Mark would be available to help. We look forward to returning to this awesome vacation spot!

Lovely place.

This place was lovely. Very clean and offered a complete turn key experience. Beach chairs, umbrellas, a cart to help you take it to the beach which was only a few blocks away. Clean towels and fully equipped. The only thing that was bad was all the construction that was going on right next door. They started at 7 Am with all the banging and didn’t stop until 6 pm. I know this has nothing to do with the resort or the management. It was just hard to fully relax the week I was there. Hopefully that won’t be the case for others.

Cute and steps from beach

This place was a little gem. Tucked away and private. It's small but perfect for what we wanted and needed. Steps from the beach. It rained most afternoons so did not get to enjoy the screened in porch for dinners or the common areas but it was a cozy setting. The unit has all you would need to cook meals and relax. Outside you have your own storage with beach chairs, umbrella, games, and carts to get yourself out to the beach with no hassle! New kitchen and furnishings were a bonus. Enjoyed those lazy boy chairs! Oh and the UV light air filter was a great security feature offering peace of mind. Mark (property owner) was responsive and attentive. It was easy to check in and out. We enjoyed the change of scenery.

Nice beach bungalow

Overall, it was very nice. The owner was great at communicating and responded to issues promptly. I actually made a mistake and reserved on the wrong dates, and he refunded me and helped me find another location at one of his other properties. This was MUCH appreciated and is 5 star customer service. The only issues we had was the following: the air fresheners are too strong and should be optional, the remote control on the main tv would not control the volume, the mattress was VERY uncomfortable. The mattress was so uncomfortable, we actually left the evening before we were supposed to check out. Just didn’t want another night on it. If you have a good back and can sleep on anything, this is a great place to stay.

Unfortunately, the review you left is actually not for the property you originally booked ('Seaclusion') but, for the second property we were able to provide at the last minute. So, just for clarification of those reading this review is not for 'Seaclusion'. This property does not have air fresheners. It has UV/Hepa air purification which can be controlled by guests or even turned off if preferred. Also, I appreciate that you will be returning. As you know, I am exceptionally responsive. I would have be happy to have had someone bring you a memory foam mattress topper had I known the mattress was too firm for your liking, at the other property you stayed at. We look forward to having you back again. Your back is going to love the premium mattress and the ultra pure air quality and filtered bathing water. No other rental offers these extreme levels of purification, cleanliness, and comfort. Thank you!

Loved the island retreat

Greatly enjoyed our stay in this two-bedroom home with many amenities. We had our own private lanai where we would enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine and a few card games! The kitchen has been newly renovated, and is huge! The owners have provided everything you could ever imagine needing, from a blender, to a crock-pot, to vanilla extract. What a pleasant surprise! We made one trip to the supermarket and stocked up for the entire trip—putting the groceries in the stainless steal refrigerator/freezer. The king beds were more comfortable than my bed back home. There were TVs in every room, including a 50’’ in the living room, which was perfect for watching movies in the evenings. The house is situated in a nice courtyard, no more than a minute walk to the bay/dock and beautiful white sand beach on either side. Loved the island, the beach, the location, the home- 10/10 would return!

Perfect vacation property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We liked making coffee in the mornings, walking down to the fishing pier, and sitting down to watch the quiet waters. We saw plenty of fish and birds, but topped things off when we saw two manatee swimming right in front of the pier. We enjoyed our afternoons and evenings sitting and walking on the beach; we made sure to watch the beautiful sunsets every night. We even caught a glimpse of a pod of dolphins swimming together. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants on or near Bridge Street. We particularly liked going to Tintos for their authentic Colombian empanadas. We also liked getting iced coffees from Back Alley Treasures. Also, no need to rent a car to check out the other areas of the island. We used the free AMI Trolley quite often to explore the Anna Maria and Holmes Beach areas. It was very easy to use the trolley and figure out which stops worked best for the things we wanted to see and do. There is a trolley pickup and drop off right down the street from the property. We would absolutely recommend staying at this property for anyone looking to vacation on Anna Maria Island.

Carson Memorial Day weekend

Upon arrival we had asked for early check in But understood if it could not occur. We had to continue to contact the property manager about our unit. At regular check in time we had to ask about checking in. We were told Our unit should be ready and we could park in parking space 4. I again had to reach out to verify unit number. As we had not received any up date or a code to get in to the unit. After finally receiving this, our unit was still dirty. I called the property manager and she was very apologetic and called her cleaning person who came over immediately. Our unit was ready in an hour. The last hiccup was the cleaning person picked up our key fob thinking it was the people who had checked out. Again, I called the property manager and Chris was able To Solve the problem quickly! I really appreciated Chris’s sincerity about our unit issues and how fast she was able to solve the issues. I will hang on to this listing and stay here again!
