Charming 3-Bedroom, 1-Bathroom; Farmhouse on Seneca Lake Wine Trail
Welcome to our beloved 1850s family farmhouse in the heart of the Finger Lakes, located right on the Wine Trail.
Just minutes from Seneca Lake, the home is ideally situated close to wineries, breweries, restaurants, gorges, waterfalls, state parks, Watkins Glen, and Ithaca.
Since purchasing the home, we’ve made many improvements and have plans for more. Please keep in mind that while the farmhouse is very clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of charm, it is an older home with some imperfections. We hope you'll appreciate its character and enjoy your stay.
The kitchen is spacious and newly renovated, offering plenty of room to cook meals and enjoy time with family and friends. An AC unit in the kitchen keeps the downstairs area very cool. There are spices stocked and some essentials.
The living room features a cozy seating area, perfect for morning coffee and conversation.
The TV room includes a comfortable sectional couch and a TV equipped with Roku; however, cable is not provided.
The bathroom is newly renovated, and has a walk in shower. It is located on the first floor. Please be cautious if you or a guest may have difficulty navigating at night, though night lights are provided.
The bedrooms are located upstairs. There are four bedrooms, each equipped with an AC unit.
Bedroom 1: Single Bed
Bedroom 2: Queen Bed
Bedroom 3: Single Bed
Bedroom 4- Queen Bed
The backyard is spacious and fairly private. There is a fire pit with a grill for you to use if you'd like to cook outdoors. Adirondack chairs surround the fire pit, creating a great spot to enjoy the countryside.
The house is listed for four guests, but we are open to two more guests with permission. There is a $20 fee per guest after four that you can add on at check out.
We are new to VRBO, but excited to host guests and keep our family home in the family!

Really cute house, everything was clean, and the owners are very nice. The house is perfectly located minutes from downtown and very close to many eateries, wineries and breweries.
This charming farmhouse was in an idea location for exploring the area around and adjacent to Lake Seneca. Comfortable inside with plenty of space for everyone to sleep and relax, it included a generous backyard area for socializing outdoors as well. I have already recommended the property to family and friends- hats off to our hosts!
Host is spot on with all descriptions and communications. Great remodel and updates to a 100 year old farm house and property. Kid friendly and plenty of space in the backyard, thanks!!
This house was so cute and in a perfect location! We had everything we needed & plenty of space for a girls weekend. Check in / out was super simple. Emily even sent me a bunch of recommendations for wine tours for us! Only confusing part was the driveway, was a bit hidden and washed out.
Can't go wrong with staying at this Farmhouse. Was a great location for our trip being just a short drive (30 min) to Ithaca, (15 min) to Watkins Glen, and wineries/breweries everywhere :) House was very accommodating, large rooms, lots of seating, beds were comfortable. Place was clean and had everything you need. Air conditioning unit downstairs and in each bedroom kept the house very comfortable. We lucked out and weather allowed us to enjoy the fire pit. Overall a great VRBO and would recommend.

We had an amazing stay during our recent vacation as the Valois farm house! The house is well kept and spacious-- it was plenty of room and had everything we needed for our week long stay. It is also centrally located in the Finger Lakes. Very close to Seneca Lake, but also a short drive to Cuyuga Lake, Watkins Glen, and Ithaca. No shortage of things to do in the area. Plus many evenings we simply stayed at the house and enjoyed card and board games with the family! Very cozy! Communication and check-in was incredibly easy. Very much enjoyed the stay.

Thank you, Joshua, for being awesome guests! So glad you and your family enjoyed your time together in the Finger Lakes. Come on back any time!
This 1850’s home has been fully updated to reflect modern tastes, yet retains its original details and charm - we loved it! Every need a traveler may have had been anticipated, with a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom, bookshelves filled with interesting books, games and toys for children, comfortable beds and bedding, and even tissues in nearly every room (important for those with allergies or eyes that weep from blocked tear ducts). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

This was a great property to stay at. There were five of us and we enjoyed our time immensely. There was one exception and that was upon arrival. Pulled up in the grass behind the porch, couldn't tell that the ground was not flat and ended up on a slight drop off. Had to call AAA to come and get me out. We still had a great time at this place. I think the property host should put up a sign not to go in that area, that there is a slight off. We were trying to get as close to the back door as possible.

Thanks, we'll put up another sign. Glad you had a good visit (:
This is an older home with tons of character. The kitchen and the bathroom have been updated and are very nice. We spent our days visiting the many wineries that are close by and our evenings playing games on the large kitchen table. Mainly because it was very hot the days that we stayed and the downstairs ac is located in the kitchen. Although it did keep the rest of the downstairs comfortable just not as cool as the kitchen. The upstairs was very warm when we got there but the ac units in the bedrooms did a nice job of making it cool enough to sleep. The noise from the units was tolerable. The beds were very comfortable. Check-in was very easy and the hosts communicated in a timely manner. The only drawback was the home is very close to a main road and you will definitely hear the traffic going by in the front two bedrooms.
Perfect location for hiking and sight seeing around the lakes. The house is an older farmhouse but has been updated to feel very modern but still cozy. Lots of room on the main floor, including a newly refinished bath with all sorts of toiletries. THE TOWELS WERE AMAZING. I love special touches like that, NO ONE wants to use stiff starchy walmart like towels while on vacation. Kitchen had nearly everything that you would need even though we ate out 70% of the time it was nice to have everything available. The bed rooms on the 2nd floor all connect in a loop around the stairs. So if using one of the smaller rooms note that you would have to pass through a larger rooms to get there. I used that room myself and I loved it. Was at the back side of the house, quieter and the bed was great (twin). located near several wineries that had bands, tours etc going on. Close enough to all the parts that we were able to do 4 of them in 3 days! We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.
