Was a nice lakefront cabin. It was dog friendly, which we needed. There was a lot to see and do in the Rangley area. We had great communitations with the Host.

upon arrival, I found parris to be clean and well cared for. I respect people's property and hope you found the property to be the same when we departed. the only negative - dining chairs uncomfortable.

The place is peaceful. Easy access to the water. Nice kitchen. Plenty of room to lounge around.Perfect large screened in porch.Long quiet dirt road on which to walk. My only MINOR suggestion is that Oar locks in rowboat need a little attention.The rental agency is top notch. Extremely professional!!!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property. The location was beautiful, the house was clean and comfortable, and it was one of the best-stocked vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed, the common spaces were great for gathering, and the property was perfect for our family celebration. Communication was excellent, and it was clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the home welcoming for guests.

Beautiful porch and view. Place was clean and well stocked. Only downside were the uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. But overall a great rental and appreciated allowing dogs!

Amazing lake view and great location by the grocery store/towns. Screened-in porch is very pleasant to have in the evenings. For the price of the rental, a touch of modern mattresses for comfort is advised and Adirondack chairs for the deck, as otherwise it is not put to use with such a lake view. It is pet-friendly which is nice but I’m afraid too many pets have been there with the carpet and vintage furniture over the years as there is a rather lingering canine-urine odor in the camp endorsed by many other occupants as well. Keep the windows open when able

Beautiful home on the water, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house is just as described - clean and comfortable with everything you need. The screened in porch has great views of the lake and the dock is perfect for swimming, fishing, or just sitting in your chair admiring the scenery! The area is quiet and private, but it's not far from town, shops, restaurants, the state park and outdoor activities. We can't wait to come back again.

Perfect!

Best water access for swimming of the many quality places we have rented for vacation. The camp was clean and well equipped. The wood stove was perfect for the only damp and cool night that we had. We liked the location because it was about halfway to town, easy trip either direction.All the help at Morton and Furbush is great. Sarah has handled our needs for the past several seasons. Service always perfect!

What a place! Because we

What a place! Because we live in the city of Cambridge, we like to vacation somewhere completely different, and this is most certainly the spot. Beautiful, tranquil and sooo relaxing. The only sounds are the waves lapping at the shore AND the haunting cries of the loons on the lake. It is truly a paradise, and WE WILL RETURN NEXT SUMMER!

Nice cabin,

This cabin is on a quiet, dead end road, and is very serene. It was a great getaway from the world. The views from the cabin, however are not so good. Too high up from the water, and too many trees to block any sort of view. So, if you are looking for a place to take in the views while hanging out on a deck...this cabin may not be for you.

The Parris cottage was

The Parris cottage was even lovelier than we expected - neat as a pin, comfortable and with lovely views and a peaceful setting. The new-ish kitchen is thoughtfully supplied with essential tools and equipment. The delightful screened porch, boat, dock, and charcoal grill made the outdoor experience so pleasant. Though we've been back home for several days my mind is still in Rangeley, and we look forward to returning again and again.

Private & Spacious

The property is absolutely wonderful. Easy access for our kayaks. The view incredible, and would be nicer if the two trees on either side of the dock had a few huge branches removed. The only negatives were the mosquitos (S Bog Rd should be a clue!) & the damp, dank, musty odor from the basement which tends to permeate thru to the master bedroom.
