Not the best

First off, 8 minutes into my arrival I got multiple calls from the owners stating that I had more animals than the original plan which was incorrect. They accused me instead of asking me, they said “someone” told them and had pictures which they never sent. I did not have more than what I had said I would bring. The place does not have wifi, not even cable just antenna. Then the toilet stop working half way through our first night and we weren’t able to use it until the next day. I should’ve gotten the first night for free and it wasn’t even offered. They fixed the toilet the next day and the last two days were okay but it was not the warmest welcome into my stay.

Substandard accommodations

The house was dirty! The floors were nasty. The refrigerator had half drank beverages and spills in it. There was a deafening constant noise, perhaps from the furnace. The doors do not lock properly. The temperature inside is not consistent, cold air was blowing straight through the cracks in the door. There is a strong moldy smell throughout the house. The bathroom is not clean. I didn’t even check for linen and towels as I would have been afraid to use it. My plan was to host Thanksgiving dinner at the house but because of the poor conditions, I was forced to move dinner to a family members house instead. My father is the only person who slept at the house, as the location was conveniently located for the area needed. He complained the entire stay.This listing needs to be removed and has to be in violation of several codes.

Great backyard, poor hostess

It was great at first, but 2-3 days before arrival I was messaged by the host asking if there was anyone in the area I would like to take a look at the property to see if it was okay for my stay, thought that this was a bit odd but decided to stick with it since it was a last minute travel plan. Upon checking in, there was no formality just walk in, this was very uncomfortable. I get in and notice that the floors are covered with debris and dirty, further inspection resulted in old nail covered wood in backyard, molding ceiling in bathroom, kitchen floor falling apart, old buckets of mop water left out, mice droppings in every cabinet, and dead flies/insects in the window sills. Don’t bother using the washer, bad idea. It says pet friendly (I had my service dogs with me) don’t brother bringing your furry family member unless you want to be charged extra after check out. The only plus side to this property was it was in a great location for visiting and the backyard was fenced. Other than that, it was very dirty and all amenities listed were not available, there was no WiFi even though it said it was available.

This review is totally a lie! There were no mice droppings or dead insects. If this was true, where are the photos? I believe you are disgruntle because you were charged a fee for your animal destroying all my linens, living room curtains and leaving muddy paw prints all over my living room sofa. You allowed your service animal to walk all over my leather couch with muddy paws, jump up onto the window seal and leaving muddy paw prints on the curtains. Not only were my linens destroyed and had to be replaced, you did not clean up after your animal. If this property was as she stated, why did you remain in the property? Why didn't you immediately cancel the reservation or call the host regarding these concerns? These are false accusations and I'm very upset by these lies.
