Perfect location!

Nice property and ideal location. It was just a short walk to all our favorite restaurants and right across from the beach access trail. Could not have asked for a better spot!

Excellent property!!!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My overall stay at this place was wonderful. The keypad to get in the door was a little tricky most of the time. Also, the kitchen chairs were unstable. But other than that, everything was excellent.
Response from VrboOwner on 23 Apr, 2026
Thank you for your review—we’re so glad to hear you had a wonderful stay overall! We’ve since updated the door code to make entry easier, and we appreciate you bringing the kitchen chair concern to our attention so we can address it.

Family Beach Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is in an ideal location: close to restaurants, close to the beach and a playground, and walking distance to coffee and bagels, which are exceptionally good. And one of the best things I can say to their credit is that we saw no bugs, particularly palmetto bugs. Although we were able to come to an agreement with management, we were disappointed in the kitchen. Cabinets and drawers were not clean and organized and there were dirty (appeared to be a lot of cooked on food) pans under the kitchen sink. Our unit needs a little attention. Acme is our favorite (and very close) restaurant on IOP.
Response from VrboOwner on 14 Aug, 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the ideal location, nearby restaurants, beach access, and coffee and bagel spots—and especially that you had a comfortable, bug-free stay. We appreciate you bringing the kitchen concerns to our attention and will share your comments with the owner for consideration. We’re also glad we were able to work with you during your stay. We hope to welcome you back to Isle of Palms in the future!

Great spot by the ocean!

Beautiful condo with super easy access to all of the town. Walking to the beach takes about 5 min. Same for all the restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the grocery was a great benefit too.

Great spot. Updated condo. 2 bathrooms were key.

We really enjoyed the condo at the beach compared to staying at the hotel in town. Nicely updated floors and bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. 2 suggestions: extra towels and towel bars, and a bureau to put clothes away. But we’re glad we chose to stay here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lot of fun. The rental was quiet and with enough space for our family of 6. Super close to the beach so we could just walk. Nice condo

Clean, well stocked condo within walking distance of the beach, fishing pier, shops & restaurants. A very nice grocery store and liquor store is also within walking distance. The pool at sea cabins was a little nicer than the pool with this condo and I think it should’ve been easier to use both. My only complaint; no in-condo laundry, but I knew that ahead of time and sent everything out to the close by laundromat for washing. Overall a very nice stay.

Thank you for taking the time to send us a review. The Oceanside Villas are allowed to use the private pier and the beach accesses in the Sea Cabins parking lot. Guests have access the laundry facilities there as well. Unfortunately this does not include access to the Sea Cabin pool. We appreciate the suggestion and will share this with the Oceanside HOA. Thank you again for taking the time to send us a review and hope to see you again soon!

Place was great, accommodating. Criticisms include: Internet was a bit iffy. Floors were sandy as were beds. Carpet on porch was pretty gross. Not enough trash bags. And as we were leaving a cockroach crawled out from the cabinet where the pans were as we went to cook eggs.

Thank you for your review and for taking the time to share your experience. We're so glad to hear you found the place accommodating and overall had a great stay. We truly appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us continue to improve. We’re sorry to hear about the cleanliness concerns you mentioned and are addressing them with our housekeeping team to ensure floors and outdoor areas like the porch carpet are given extra attention moving forward. While we do provide a starter supply of items such as trash bags and toiletries, we understand this can catch guests off guard and will continue working to better communicate that ahead of time. We’ve also alerted our pest control service about the roach sighting, as that is certainly not the experience we want for our guests. We appreciate your comments and hope to have the opportunity to host you again for a smoother and even more enjoyable stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this apartment. It was very clean, nicely equipped, updated bathrooms and the location is perfect. Bed in MBR was VERY comfortable and the only apartment in this area I could find with a king size bed, plenty of towels provided and everything appeared to be in working order. We didn't cook, but there were plenty of dishes and silverware. Would definitely recommend.

September 2016 Visit

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Downside: beds and pillow are terrible. TV in second bedroom did not work, could have used some spare light bulbs. A couple lamps were out and that is the only lighting type in one bedroom and living room. Place was clean and in a nice location.

Clean and convenient

The condo was very clean and overlooked the pool. It really was a quick walk to the beach, crossing the street with a small child and beach supplies was no issue. I saw some reviews complained of the traffic crossing the street. We did not have that issue crossing at the designated crosswalks of course. The only negative is you are right by public access so the beach was packed. Not the IOP we are used to, so while the condo was great and location was great, we prefer just a bit less of the hustle and bustle. Still great pool and beautiful beach!

Island Realty and the owner of Oceanside villa 205B will be so pleased to hear what a wonderful time you had! It is true that the beach can be very crowed depending on the time of year. I am glad you and your family had direct access to the private pier that the locals do not have access to! Thank you for letting us know what a great time your family had! We hope to see you again soon on the Isle of Palms.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall great stay. Called ahead to get in early & the person said that would help them and marked it down (the last person had checked out on Wednesday. We were arriving Saturday). Got there at 1230 but said wasn't inspected. Didn't get "inspected" till 2pm. But then we arrived there was 3 light bulbs out in the master bathroom and underwear left in the nightstand so not sure what was inspected. Oceanside 205B was a very nice condo. Not far at all from beach. Only thing wish was washer & dryer. Would have paid more if had it. Spent bout half that at the Sea Cabin laundromat. Great place to stay.
