Our host was easy to communicate with through VRBO messaging. The house had all the amenities needed to make anyone’s stay perfect. The house itself is a cute bungalow central to restaurants , shops and walking alongside the river.
The location of this cute little house was perfect. We walked to dinner and drinks each evening, and enjoyed the trail along the river. The home was clean and well appointed, just perfect for our needs.
The host was quick to respond when needed, and the interior design was tastefully done. The location and neighborhood were much better than expected, and walking to the main strip was convenient. There was a touch of a throwback feel that I welcomed. The seating was not as conducive for more than 4 guests (4 table chairs, and 4 cushioned seats in the living room), but the general simplicity was a inviting change from modern pace. I’d stay again.
Really enjoyed the time at the house. LOVE the front porch swing. Super close and nice walk to great food and shopping.

Cute cottage
This cottage is in a great location behind Dodging Duck brewery. You can easily walk to downtown Main Street in Boerne or the river. It was cozy and provided all the basic necessities. It was nice that shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided in the 2 showers.
You can not beat this location! We came to visit family in San Antonio which is way too busy for us. Just about 25-30 minutes outside of SA, this little charmer is located right in the heart of Boerne. Super close to shops and restaurants and completely walkable. We walked the Cibolo each morning before heading out for the day and fully enjoyed the ducks. Loved it!
Perfect location in relation to Main. Easy walk if it wasn’t so cold, and right by the Dodging Duck which is a great little place for food, local brew and live music. House is so stinking cute and cozy. Had everything we needed. Didn’t mind hand washing dishes. Would stay here again if we come back to Boerne.
Very clean and accessible. Pretty walk to town-not far. Only issue was door knobs came off in your hand!! We laughed it off-it didn't impact our stay at all. Located right behind a restaurant/bar which got loud on Saturday night. But, we'd stay there again.
Fantastic location (about 35 steps from a great restaurant) and 5 minutes from everything you can possibly need. The bar down the street has live music and you can listen to them play on the front porch swing! It's lovely! Also the ducks come by and say hello from the pond across the street! The house is adorable and well stocked and clean! We felt super safe the entire time. If we come back to this area I will definitely stay here again! Loved the house soooo much!!
We enjoyed our stay in this charming old house. The home was remodeled, but preserved several architectural features from the past. The porch swing is also a fun way to spend passing time or reading a book. The property is conveniently located a short walk from the River trail. There is no dishwasher, but we weren’t preparing big meals. Overall, a fun adventure.

Four women friends stayed here for 2 nights. The common area is great! Very open, high ceilings and a lovely kitchen. We don’t need fancy, but we do expect cleanliness. The sheets on the two biggest beds made us feel uncomfortable. The primary bedroom sheets had a couple of old blood stains on them. The sheets (not pillow cases) in the other bedroom, looked like they had been slept in. When I removed the sheets today, before leaving, there were stains on the mattress pad. The bathroom, in between the two side bedrooms, had a weird smell to it. And didn’t look clean in some areas. Also, the friend in the primary bedroom said that the wood slate floor in the shower moved. We went out the first night and returned in the dark and the front porch lights were very dim and made it hard to see. The ground is uneven between the driveway and front door. I conveyed to John about the sheets and lighting and he asked what they could do? He said that the cleaning staff “always” cleans well. Unfortunately, we weren’t the recipients of that. My friends and I travel a lot we hope you listen to our experience and fix this for future guests.
