Very clean, great location, and host was very responsive. Does not have a sink or food prep area at all in the kitchenette, so you are limited to what you can heat up in the toaster oven.

I am sorry it rained during your entire stay and you were not able to use the grill outdoors. However, the listing does clearly represent the amenities in the kitchenette. Additionally, we are not able to refund guests who decide to leave early because of the weather.

The cabin is a wonderful place to stay if you want some peace and solitude, we used it for relaxation after a hard day of jeeping on the trails.

Place was great. The only warning I would give people is the shower is outside. That was a fun quirk in August. Probably would be different in January. But I had no complaints and the Katie was so easy to communicate with.

It had gotten chilly and the leaves had begun to change, which was the perfect timing for staying at this awesome mountain top cabin. We had access to a wonderful fire pit and grilled over that each night. The cabin is located perfectly to get to trails. We loved our stay here!

This is such a cozy mountain retreat. It was our first air b n b & we absolutely loved this place! We most definitely will book it again as it feels like home and Katie is so accommodating. It was so nice of her to have coffee, drinks and a charcuterie board and food in the fridge. There are so many nearby trails and things to do. I’m already missing it!

Peaceful and clean

The area is remote enough to be quiet and peaceful but not so remote as to be a hassle. This is the most well-kept cabin interior I've visited yet, so kudos! Plenty of provisions such as food, water, coffee, and camping gear are available. The shower is outdoors and could use more pressure but it's not bad. The host is very communicative and will ask if you are finding everything all right. My only criticism is that the outdoor grill and grill brush need to be cleaned of spider webs, but that's an easy fix and understandable problem which can be easily remedied and is hopefully outdated by the time anyone reads this. Thank you!

Thanks Daniel! Wiping down the grill was certainly on housekeeping's list prior to your stay! I'm sorry it appears it did not happen! And the shower pressure should be adjustable by turning the shower-head to the left. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in Uwharrie! We would love to host you again sometime!
