This home is located in a gated community with an inclined, gravel road on last 0.5mi drive to house. 4WD or AWD will be required in winter months. Driveway is flat. But please plan accordingly for road leading up to house. No refunds will be given for weather-related travel difficulties. In winter we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance since you never know what winter weather conditions there will be.

Gorgeous house

We had a girls trip here and the house was perfect! The pictures of the view from the back deck don’t do it justice and there’s plenty of room for everyone to have some privacy.

Beautiful Home

We had a great time here. The house is beautiful and has amazing views. Our host was very helpful and quick to respond. We had two small families and plenty of room. We definitely hope to come back and stay again.

With little ones the property is a little challenging. Lots of stairs and very little out side space. The cabin is situated on a very steep hill. The pictures show that but we were hoping that on the reverse side there would be space to run and explore.It was perfect for our older grandchildren. The cabin was beautiful and spacious inside and we enjoyed the hot tub.

Incredible house with everything you need!! Incredible views with very cozy beds and many blankets to stay cozy! We made amazing memories with our entire family, including 87 yr MIL. We couldn’t get upstairs fireplace to turn on. We’d love to stay again!

Breathtaking Views, Beautiful Sunrises, Awesome House!!

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It is well maintained, very well appointed, super comfortable, and has an absolutely beautiful view. We have stayed in rental homes all over the Appalachian Mountains and this is by far our favorite. We will definitely rent this home again as soon as possible.

MOST AMAZING TRIP

My family and I stayed at this Boone house for my brothers graduation this past weekend and had the absolute best time. The house was so perfect and had the most incredible views (My dad was able to watch shooting stars before the sunrise and that may have been the highlight of his trip). The host was super accommodating and let us stay past our check out time until the ice cleared off the roads. I would highly recommend this house and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful home, gorgeous view

We rented this home for our annual AppState reunion weekend. The house was perfect for our group of 8 women. Lots of sleeping options, stocked with all the necessary kitchen items, comfy living areas, and a wonderful view. The proximity to the University and King St. shopping was great. We’ve all agreed that this is the first house we’ve stayed at that we would look to rent again.

Splendid property

We can’t say enough about this. The views are gorgeous. The property comfortably slept seven guys. We loved the hot tub and used a couple of the decks. The starter pack of paper towels, and toilet paper and soap was helpful too. Saw a few deer and used the deer feeder. I went for a run around the area and that was also gorgeous – just beware the rather extensive climbs. Bottom line, all the other five star reviews are right – you can’t go wrong here. All I think to mention is I would be careful with really small kids. There was a bassinet in one of the rooms for a baby, but I would wanna make sure a two year-old as well supervised.

A perfect place

We have stayed at several cabins on the mountain, but this was by far the best! We loved the room set up. My mother was able to have her own suite upstairs, we had the main floor master, and my daughter and son and his fiancé had the basement that had their own kitchen and game room. We were pleasantly surprised by a lovely snowfall during our stay. The fireplace was warm and inviting. The jacuzzi was perfect. They have a deer feeding contraption that was impressive. We counted nine one morning! I’m a seasoned packer and always bring extra supplies because often supplies are limited. That was not the case at this cabin. Our hosts provided plenty of paper goods, dish soap, dishwasher pods and full size shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. I never had to use any of the extras I brought. That was a nice touch. We could easily contact the host if we had any questions. We even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree! We definitely will be staying here again in the future. What a wonderful place to celebrate our family’s early Christmas!

The views are breathtaking from sunrise to sunset, and the amenities throughout the home are top‑notch. It struck the perfect balance of being incredibly close to downtown Boone while still feeling peaceful, private, and completely our own.The host was fantastic to work with—communicative, attentive, and supportive every step of the way. It made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.We will definitely be renting from them again. If you’re considering a stay in the Boone area, this is the place you want. Why they chose this property

The views from Top of Boone neighborhood are best we saw in High Country and we instantly fell in love. We love that it is a gated community and the gravel road makes you truly feel like you are in the mountains.

What makes this property unique

The long range mountain views!! The house is also spacious and can accommodate and entertain many families. There is a fun deer feeder you can drop food through tube on deck & enjoy watching deer from above.
