About the house:
Enter the main level through a carved wood door and just 2 steps from the path from the paved dedicated parking area. The great room has vaulted tongue & groove ceilings, with a high end kitchen on one side featuring all wooden cabinets and self-closing drawers, granite counters and GE Café Stainless appliances including a gas range and convection oven, and utility sink. The dining table has a bench on two sides and will easily accommodate everyone, and after dinner the living room with comfortable furnishings arranged around a gas log fireplace and a smart-TV make this a favorite gathering spot.
The master suite has a King bed, TV, French doors to the deck, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a wood slab counter and hammered copper sinks.
Another bedroom on the main level has a Queen bed with built-in book nooks with reading lights and outlets for phone chargers, and this bedroom is connected to a full bathroom with river stone vessel sink, which is also accessed from the great room.
Upstairs are two more bedrooms, one on each side of the stairs and each with vaulted ceilings. To the left is a bedroom with a Queen bed and a pull-out sofa (can sleep 2), and to the right is a bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed set with another 55” Ultra High Def TV with a WiiU console attached and a padded window seat.
Directly outside the main living area is a covered outdoor porch with stunning mountain views, gas grill, lovely outdoor gas fireplace, and hot tub (7). There are no steps between the main living area and the porch, so it is fairly accessible.

Flora & Fauna: BRMC is pristine and preserved, sculpted and nurtured by Mother Nature, and home to a wide variety of indigenous flora and fauna that thrives throughout our 6,000+ acres. Chesnuts, maples, black and white oaks, and towering pines abound. The land is also teeming with deer, fox, wild turkey, grouse, and a multitude of bird species that also call BRMC home.
Fishing: Freshwater ponds and creeks abound at BRMC. In fact, there are a number of coveted fishing holes with tucked-away nooks and crannies along the 64 miles of streams on property—all brimming with mountain brook trout.
BRMC lays claim to miles of creeks and streams on property, intermittent and perennial, along with pocket wetlands, and a variety of waterfalls, all of which are mapped. Our current state classification is ORW, which stands for “Outstanding Resource Watershed,” a designation we intend to maintain through careful use and preservation of our natural resources.

Why they chose this property
What makes this House unique
We love sitting on the back deck, high up in the treetops, listening to the breeze blowing, the birds chirping, or the frogs croaking, it’s like being out in the woods. But with a little bit of convenience. You can always flip on the fireplace and relax, enjoying the mountain views, or slip into in the hot tub under the stars. Inside, curl up in your favorite spot with a good book or just take a nap.
Of course, you still have access to wifi for staying plugged in when you want, and entertainment on big screen, ultra-high def tvs, so you don’t miss the big game or your favorite show. Having underground fiber internet is huge with current remote schooling and working needs.
Outside, there are trails close by, with more views, fresh air, and the sounds of mountain streams not far away. The kids love the blue hole, and I love eating al fresco at the Lookout Grill. The two pickleball courts are within a 1-2 minute walk from the house, and the pool and 6 more pickleball courts are a 10 min drive away.

What makes this property unique
From the moment you drive through our front gate, you are greeted by some of the most stunning views in Western North Carolina. Mile after mile of ancient, rolling mountains in every direction. And the possibilities for adventure, recreation, and relaxation are as wide open as the vistas, and as plentiful as the towering hardwoods. This is a place for families to explore all the wonders the High Country bestows—in a community equally impressive.
