We stayed for a month in this apartment and couldn't have been happier. It is a great location, close to Central Park and the subway as well as some excellent places to eat. The apartment is spacious (for New York!) and quiet and had everything we needed. We felt very safe and comfortable for our family holiday.
We loved this apartment, perfectly situated between two subway lines, easy bus access, tons of restaurants and delis, but the best was being just a few blocks from Central Park. Host was great, we had a brief issue with the AC but it was fixed promptly with fast communication. Overall, wonderful experience. Thanks!
We just spent a month at this property on West 94th street, a very convenient location just a block and a half from Central Park and a few blocks from Riverside Park. The apartment is very nicely updated, especially the bathrooms and the kitchen, and thoughtfully equipped. There is a washer/dryer in the basement but we preferred a laundry just around the corner for next day clothes cleaning to save us time. The host, Jamie, was very easy to work with and very accommodating for any special requests. We would definitely stay in this apartment again for visits to the Upper West Side of NYC.

Comfortable Spacious Family Place
The first impression walking into this apartment was how bright, clean and well -organized it is. My daughter and her boyfriend who live in Brooklyn were in awe of the amount of space here in the heart of Manhattan. This is by far the most space I have seen in my years of visiting NYC and staying in short-term rentals. It is very well equipped: the kitchen has everything you need; the bathrooms have plenty of towels; the living room and bedrooms have plenty of media and books for every age. The subways are a short walk away. There are good restaurants and markets very close by. I don't know what more one could want for a great stay in the city! The hosts live in the building and are gracious and responsive.

Spacious, Unique Apartment on the Upper West Side
We have used VRBO many times to rent apartments in the US and abroad, and although we have always been satisfied, this apartment was our favorite! The apartment was very quiet at night, which was important to us because we had to get up early each morning. Lots of natural light streams into the apartment due to the atrium on the back, as well as the large windows in the front. The layout of the apartment, with each bedroom on a different level, worked very well for our two families. Everyone felt as though they had enough privacy. The location is situated close to three subway lines, including an express stop on the red line, so getting around was a cinch. Whole Foods as well as other grocery stores are close by. The owners were very easy to work with in terms of booking and any questions we had. I liked the fact that they live above this unit. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. We will definitely try to book this apartment the next time we come to NYC. Absolutely no negative comments at all with this great place!!
We had a wonderful week staying at Jamie’s lovely apartment. My husband, son and I were visiting our daughter who lives in NYC. She came and stayed with us for the week. My son loved the loft area so he could have his alone time with his video games. We spent most of our time in the living room and kitchen, all very bright with lots of natural sunlight. It was fun to people watch out of the front windows, looking down on the quiet street below. The beds were very comfortable and having two bathrooms for the four of us was great. The apartment is close to shopping, wine stores, the subway and many fabulous restaurants. Jamie was great with communication and check in was a breeze. We thank you Jamie for a fantastic week and we would highly recommend your place to future travelers!
We were looking for a location for our family to experience a first time trip to NYC for my wife and our 3 adult children. This was it. Great location, clean, and all the conveniences needed. We were up early and out daily. Warm, quiet, bright and fun. Our hosts has a gem here.
Thank you!!!
Our stay was exactly as we expected with one small caveat - the upper level bedrooms space is not practical for mature adults - but the apartment is lovely and we enjoyed our better than any other home/vacation spot we have stayed at in the city. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
We loved our stay here. Great location; great apartment for our family.
The host family was very nice. Available and helpful when we needed any thing
Highly recommend
Our family of four loved the spacious, clean and sun-filled apartment. There was enough room to spread out at the end of busy days of sight-seeing. The location was perfect - subway, grocery, Central Park all within a five minute walk. Jamie was a very gracious and responsive host and the property is exactly as it is represented in the photos. Would absolutely stay here again when we are in the area.
We loved this apartment! We have lived in this neighborhood for many years, and were very happy to be back in it for a visit! The apartment is well laid out, beautifully decorated, clean and cozy. The owner is friendly and accessible. There are great restaurants and groceries nearby, and Central Park is one block away! My son’s friend loved sleeping in the loft. We hope to be back!
Perfect location. Close to restaurants and public transportation. Clean. Plenty of room in living area. Kitchen had all we needed. Access to washer and dryer also helpful. Owner communicates well and timely. Would go back again.
This is a great, spacious property in a nice, family oriented neighborhood. Everything you need is within 2 blocks, including Central Park. The only thing I would note is the sleeping loft access is very small and difficult for an adult to access. It is not large enough to stand up in but worked well for our teenagers. Jamie is very accommodating and easy to work with. Very enjoyable stay!
We enjoyed our stay in NYC. Jamie was quick to respond to any questions we had. The apartment was just as we expected. So close to the subway, walks to the park. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Thank you for being a wonderful host

Great home base
This place is fantastic! The location is really perfect- right between the red and blue/orange lines. It's just a block and a half from the park and super close to a Trader Joe's. The apartment itself is quite large compared to the other homes I've been in and one of my favorite things about it was that the whole building has a single owner. We booked Jamie's home the night before we got to the city. Another renter cancelled on us the day before our flight when she asked us to lie about our relationship so she wouldn't get in trouble with the board of her building and we refused. Lesson learned- beware of co-ops. That, plus how accommodating Jamie is with leaving bags there after check out is a huge plus for me, especially with a later flight and 3 small kids.
While we don't typically spend much time where we are lodging it is always really nice to have a kitchen and the two bathrooms was a life saver a couple of times. We didn't use the basement much except for the bathroom and shower. I had 2 kids on the futon and the smallest on the couch (my kids like to be close when we're in unfamiliar places). The street side bedroom is noisy and bright, but honestly not a surprise when you're staying in the city. We purchased a box fan to drown out the noise and that worked really well.
One of the blinds in that same bedroom would not easily go up and I think one of the screws in the upper support was loose or gone, but as that room is at street level we would never have left the blinds open anyway. Also, the bed in that room is not terribly comfortable. I think it is an issue of it being a wall bed. I'm certain the downstairs bed would have been much more comfortable.
I can see how having the dining area might be awkward for multiple families staying in one place, but it was not an issue for us. It was nice to have a place where I could sit my kids down to do a little school work in the mornings or evenings.
Another huge plus is the dishwasher! We usually only eat out once a day when we're there and a dishwasher is so nice to have. We only had to run it a few times during the week. I'd totally stay here again.

Well located, very comfortable, spacious, well stocked kitchen and accommodating and responsive host
We prefer staying on the upper west side and this visit confirmed the wisdom of our choice. The apartment was extremely spacious and well appointed. And its convenient position between two subway lines made traveling around easy. The wall of windows on the back side provides tons of light and the downstairs bedroom is large, cozy and quiet. The beds were also very comfortable.

Perfect location!
My family stayed here for nearly two weeks recently. The location couldn't have been more perfect for us. Access to two different subway lines are very close by, there is a Whole Foods within walking distance, and best of all - Central Park was two blocks away. We also spent some time at Riverside Park, which is also a very reasonable walk. We have two young children and they loved the playgrounds in the parks. There are also several great restaurants nearby. The residence is well stocked and the owners were more than accommodating when we had questions or needed something minor.
The downstairs bedroom is completely dark and utterly silent at night. Upstairs bedroom is the opposite since it faces the street - lots of street noise and light coming in. There is a futon in the living room, but it's not something an adult could sleep on in my opinion. WiFi is provided, but pretty often the internet was useless (both times I checked the speed it was less than 1 mbps). Other than those minor things, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Great NY rental
We had a great stay. The apartment was perfect for our trip (2 couples). The Upper West Side is a comfortable area to be in, and there are two major subway lines easily available. The apartment is really nice, with the upstairs and downstairs portions making it like 2 separate apartments, so good for two couples. Definitely recommended.

The property is a bit old but well maintained by the owner. The location is a definite plus factor.
This property is a genuine 2 bedroom & 2TB rental. I had the opportunity to meet the owners, Jamie & Alexie. They were accommodating and very responsive to our minor requests.
The rental is well equipped with appliances and implements for people who prefer to stay in longer.
As I mentioned, the location is a definite plus factor. Three blocks away from a main subway station. Many good restaurants (with a variety of cuisine) within a few blocks around the unit. For stay-in guests, there are many service facilities (delis, groceries, supermarkets, pharmacies) around the unit.
We would definitely consider staying here in our future visits to New York.
