This architectural marvel in the heart of the Texas Hill Country is located just 10 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Sitting on 12 beautiful, secluded and private acres, this 4 bedroom/3 bath home is made up of 3 separate, converted shipping containers. Each of the two lower containers are 2 bedroom/1 bath (1 queen size bed, 1 full) with a small living room and kitchen, and the upper container has a wide open floor plan with a big screen TV, a full size kitchen, a couch (that has a bed), a washer and dryer, and a bathroom with a large 2 person bathtub. All cooking utensils and pots and pans are provided, along with silverware, glasses, etc. There is a hot tub that doubles as a lounge pool in the summer too! Come enjoy the beautiful Texas Hill Country and historic Fredericksburg!

The rooms were just what we needed for a weekend stay. They were very clean and big enough for the whole family. The size of the showers was fabulous. The only complaint was there were piles of junk in the pasture, but that did not effect the lodging part other than the view. It was very nice to be in the country and not inside the city. Great for someone who has pets too.

We had a girls get together to celebrate a birthday and the place was perfect for us with open and spacious patio had an outdoor fire and got into the hot tube. It was a very cozy place we all enjoyed our stay.

Fredericksburg friend and family trip

We loved staying at this property the container homes caught my eye, I like to try different things. The shipping containers were very interesting to me and was turned into a cute little getaway with privacy. The two bottom were the same layout, queen and full one at each end, bathroom and little kitchenette area. The upstairs one had some couches, more kitchen area and a bathroom for more of a hangout spot. We day outside at night after visiting wineries and looked at all the stars. Host was quick in responding. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hot tub was not used. A screen would have been nice on the lower level outside to block the wind and keep critters away. The fire pit was not used due to the high winds. There were spiders and bugs on the floor. The space was small for our group but we still had a good time. More lighting would have been great because it was dark when we arrived. The road would only allowed one vehicle and it was dusty and rocky road. For our first time it was a different experience in the container dwelling. Fredericksburg itself was nice and the food was great. Thanks Stuart for your assistance.
