Hi Ronald! Apologies for not replying to your kind review sooner. Thanks for reviewing your stay and letting us know your experience of our home and amenities. You've been great guests and we'd definitively love to host you again any time! Best, The Team
We really enjoyed our stay overall. The location is excellent, especially for hiking, and we loved the amenities like the pool and game room. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the decor was very nice. There was a cleaning issue when we arrived, but it was addressed. The house had some quirks, and while a few maintenance issues were taken care of, others were left unresolved. Communication with the host was decent, though it could have been a bit more responsive. Still, we had a good time and appreciated the highlights of this beautiful property.
This is one of two homes we have stayed at that deserve a separate, 6-star rating for Beyond-Words-Excellence.This is a truly incredible home, offering woodsy seclusion and exquisitely high-end and comfortable interior comfort. The house is honestly more impressive in person -both inside and out- than the pictures suggest: it is breathtaking upon arrival (the driveway alone is impressive), tastefully decorated (but not at all gaudy), and spacious but not isolating (we had seven people max). The kitchen is a dream to work in and terrifically well-stocked, the beds were excellent, we had difficulty tearing ourselves away from the fireplace and great room, and the entire home was exceptionally clean - the owners and caretakers are clearly invested in the upkeep and integrity of this residence.Communication was a breeze, the pool was dreamy, and our only complaint was that we didn't book a longer stay. It is absolutely worth the price, and we are already planning our next visit.
We just spent an amazing long weekend with my family and my sister's family. The house itself is in a private wooded area but close to Great Barrington. While the pictures of the house listing are beautiful it is even more spectacular in person with a large open living room and functioning fire place. The kids occupied themselves playing pool and foosball, playing outside and swimming in the heated indoor pool. There were rafts and masks available for use. The adult enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen is a great space for cooking meals and gathering. The property managers got back to us quickly when we reached out with a couple of questions. The beds were super comfortable and the views from the endless decks were fantastic especially at this time of year. Our only regret was not staying longer! It is a little pricey, but I would say worth every penny! The kids are already asking to come back.
