We stayed at Sabrina's cottage for a family gathering. The kitchen is very well stocked, which made it easy and enjoyable for us to cook meals together. Comfortable beds and a very quiet street made for excellent sleep. The layout is open and airy, giving the feeling of plenty of space for everyone. Every part of the house was immaculate. We had only one quick question for Sabrina during our stay and she answered it quickly. Overall, a wonderful experience!!

We rented Sabrina's lovely Sheffield home for August 2026. This was our third August at Sabrina's. The house's location on a quiet country road makes for a restful, peaceful stay and for an easy walk or jog. The house is immaculate. The hardwood floors gleam! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need to make simple or more elaborate meals. Sabrina leaves paper and cleaning supplies for your use which is very handy! There's two drawers of every kind of spices you might ever need. The dining table is large and great for family games or working on a jigsaw puzzle. The beds are comfortable. The master bath is large with an extra large and luxurious shower. When our daughter 's family visited, the house easily accommodated the extra four. We also loved Sabrina's collection of books which would delight toddlers through adults. Sabrina is a great host and responds quickly to any concerns or questions you may have. We're returning next August!

A charming stay for a family

We’ve stayed a couple times now at Sabrina’s cottage in Sheffield. It’s the perfect location to being able to access Catamount Mountain for our winter trips! Only pray for more snow so we can have more fires.

Lovely spot in the Berkshires

We needed a stay over en route to an early Sunday morning check in at Lime Rock Park and Sabrina’s place was perfect. Mom, Dad, 4 adult children and one super cool greyhound. Place was clean, well appointed and an overall great comfortable spot.

Lovely Stay

We so enjoyed our three day stay at the cottage. It was incredibly well appointed, clean and so comfortable! We were in the area for a family wedding, so we didnt fully utilize all that the cottage offered, but loved all of the time we did spend there. We had some very pretty walks in the mornings with our little pup. We'd love to return at some point!

The house is ideally situated, for those who want a piece of Catamount and for those who wish to forego skiing for a day in nearby Great Barrington and other towns like it. The house itself is well maintained and if you forgot towels or even toiletries the host Sabrina has you covered. Sabrina is the one who makes your stay shine further - always accessible and highly responsive. Consider a visit if you are seeking quiet comfort, a drink by the wood stove fireplace, or a perfect landing spot that puts you close to the nearby destinations that found you there in the first place.

This was our third stay at Sabrina’s cheerful, charming, and super cozy little house in Sheffield. Love the first floor open living/dining area, the wonderfully stocked kitchen, the spacious deck for lounging or enjoying an alfresco meal, the badminton and fire pit in the yard…It’s a terrific getaway stay that’s also perfect for entertaining. The house is in a quiet area that is good for biking, and is close to Great Barrington as well as Millerton and the Harlem Valley Rail Trail in New York. We are already thinking about our fourth visit next year!

Beautiful home in great location - perfect weekend getaway for skiing, hiking, relaxing

This home is beautiful, modern but very cozy and comfortable, well-appointed (even with an adorable kids’ room full of games and books). We loved our (too short) time there & would return anytime. Thank you!

Fantastic Stay in the Berkshires

Cute house that was perfectly arranged for our family. Kitchen is well stocked with spices galore! We cooked at home every night. Went hiking in both NY, CT and MA - super easy to get to all locations, beautiful views of mountains all around. Will definitely come back to this house again with our family!

Delightful home in very quiet neighborhood near hiking trails. House had every amenity you might need (except tissues). Less than 20 minutes drive from Sheffield. Great restaurants in town. We very much enjoyed our stay in this house in the country and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Nice house in a good lication

This was a very nice, private house close to the Berkshire towns we wanted to visit. Big master bedroom and very nice master bath. I wish we had seen the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms before we booked as the were very difficult for our senior dog.

Perfect rental

We loved our long weekend at Sabrina’s house! Perfect location, lots of hiking close by, and the house was spotless. We had three kids under 7 with us and they loved the bunk and all of the toys left there for them! The kitchen was well stocked with great pots and pans and plenty of room for all of us! We will definitely be back!

Hi and Welcome! My sister-in-law, Carri and I have had a blast fixing up this house. We love traveling and welcoming travelers to our home. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Why they chose this property

We love the southern Berkshires and our house is a hidden treasure.

What makes this property unique

Sheffield, antiquing capital of the Berkshires, borders Great Barrington with all of its great shopping and cafés, Butternut and Catamount ski hills are each a twenty-minute drive. Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, and Mass MoCa are all less than an hour's drive. Horseback riding, swimming, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. are all easy to access and plan as part of your trip!
