We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was immaculate and well-stocked. It was private and quiet with a great deck off the back. The open floor plan was spacious and the original family items, such as the musical instruments and photos, really made it feel homey. The location was also very convenient. Looking forward to returning.

This cottage is located in a peaceful setting surrounded by farms. The kitchen was fully stocked and the place was very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and even offered to let us use a wheelchair. The personal touches in the home made the space very welcoming. We hope to return next year!

Great Stay

Rose was a great host them property was clean. It was in an area that was close to everything. But was very private right in the middle of Amish country. It you want a secluded get away this the place to stay. Rose had a goodie basket for us. Rose was very tentative and personal and you can’t go wrong with this place.

My husband, 2 sisters and I only had 3 days to enjoy Carpenter Cottage. Next time we hope to stay longer. We arrived to a clean cottage and a welcome basket of local goodies, which we appreciated. It was a nice personal touch. We had everything we needed right there. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. For the bathroom, there was plenty of towels. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds. The house was comfortable and welcoming. There was a deck which we used to enjoy the beautiful weather we had. Our host Rose made our stay very enjoyable and we look forward to returning.

Perfect Amish country escape

We were looking for a quiet home tucked away in the Amish farmland, yet with easy access to all the area has to offer. This home turned out to be everything we had hoped for. It’s set back from the main road overlooking the local farms. The home itself was immaculately clean, comfortably furnished with a spacious feel. Rosie was an exceptionally kind, generous, responsive and helpful hostess. The home offered many extras including a basket of local treats and a well provisioned kitchen. We highly recommend this home and would definitely return.

Do yourself a favor and stay at the cottage! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, peaceful setting. There was a welcome basket to greet us when we arrived and communication with the owners was excellent. We enjoyed the backyard and deck while watching the bunnies and fireflies. We could hear the buggies passing on the main road and see them from a distance. We visited the farmers market close by and ate at Dienner’s Country Restaurant buffet. Our stay was short but we spent time exploring the area and looking at the scenery. The cottage is cozy but roomy with an open kitchen and living room area. It was bigger than expected and we had plenty of room. Very relaxing! Thanks for having us!!
