About this property

Come hideaway in our country retreat in the middle of 14 acres of wooded peacefulness. Enjoy wildlife from a window or from one of two decks while you are still located close to tourist attractions like Strasburg Railroad and minutes from the oldest, continuing farmers' market, Central Market and numerous hiking trails at state parks or conservancies.
Our family has lived here for over twenty years and we would love to share it with visitors. Whether you're a history buff, a adventurer, a shopper, or you're just looking for a little time to rest and restore yourself, our slice of nature is the perfect place to relax.

My grandparents stayed for their anniversary. They had a minor issue with the door lock but the host was quick to come over and help. They enjoyed their stay.

We were so impressed with this property. The home interior was well appointed-functionally and beautifully designed. It was peaceful for our family get-away, and enjoyed being there.

Quaint Hideway on a Hill With Hot Tub!

This place is super nice and clean inside. My wife and two Grandkids had plenty of room to be comfortable in our own separate spaces. It has a nice kitchen and coffee mess area. There is a nice deck with seating for 6 at a table and of course the wonderful hot tub with lights! Beds are comfortable and the living room is adequate with a very large flat screen TV. Plenty of hot water with good showers and water pressure. Easy access to the highways and the general Lancaster area. We were pleased to meet the host on arrival; she was very nice and accommodating. We highly recommend Pennsy Ridge for your Lancaster getaway!

Family get away.

Wonderful private area, away from town but close to everything. The home was comfortable, clean and spacious. The owners are close if needed, however they respected our privacy. I would stay here again.

Super relaxing stay

We loved our stay here. If we could stay for a whole week we would. Property was quiet, everything was clean and we loved staying in and just having a staycation. The hot tub was such a good bonus to an already great property.

Cozy getaway

The property was very cozy and welcoming. We found the kitchen to be well stocked and we appreciated being able to use the gas grill out on the deck. The hot tub was a huge plus as well. Overall, it was exactly what we were looking for in a place to relax and unwind for a few days.

Enjoyed the hot tub

My husband and I came for a weekend getaway. The home was peaceful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the hot tub. If we come again we will bring our bikes because the Enola Low Grade Trail is super close.

This is the fourth year my friend group has stayed with the Pennsy Ridge Hideaway, and we LOVE it! The house is always clean and welcoming with a stress free check in amd check out process. So many cherished memories have been made here!

New Years Trip with the Gworls

We all loved the place and the amount of space it had as a whole! They had everything we could need in the kitchen as well which made our stay much better with all the cooking we did! We enjoyed the hot tub but while in it on the first night we did notice it was not very clean & had to clean it ourselves a bit, this didn’t stop us from having a good time & enjoying the place! We may come back again!

Perfect Stay!!!

We so enjoyed our stay! It’s a perfect place for us! Easy to find and communications were excellent! This is a property for rest and relaxation and very convenient to areas of interest. very well hidden but..

The property was incredibly spacious. My wife and I only used one bedroom, but it could easily accommodate two or more couples. The hot tub area was lovely, and we enjoyed watching deer roam outside one of the large windows, which offered stunning views of the hillside and endless trees. However, finding the place was a bit challenging. It could benefit from a visible marker for nighttime arrivals, especially for first-time visitors. Additionally, there were only two small ice trays, and no ice was made in advance. Despite these minor inconveniences, the price was excellent, and the unique location and view were unmatched in the area.

Getaway

Our 9th anniversary getaway was relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and firepit and walking the local trails. Extremely clean and most necessities provided along with a few local goodies. We will return in the future.

Lovely recharge in the beauty of nature

Great place to stay

The place was perfect for the 3 of us. Many extras that were left for our use which were totally unexpected such as the whoopie pies and the coffee bar set up which left nothing that any of us needed or wanted. The hot tub being ready for our daily use was terrificexceptional seeing it was October.

We are Angie and Brant. We both grew up in Lancaster County and bought this property soon after getting married. We have lived here for over 20 years. We have put a lot of time into making it our own and continue to enjoy making improvements. We have always taken solace in the outdoors which is what drew us to make it our home. We share this with our daughter and two Newfoundland dogs.
