Get ready to relax! This is a centrally located 3-bedroom house in Morehead City. There is 1 full bed and 2 queen beds. Our property is perfect for a group getaway. Enjoy scenic walks or bike rides to the local waterfront where you can eat, enjoy local artist or local bands, and family activities. Crab Pointe Cottage is a Five minute drive to Atlantic Beach, five minute drive to Beaufort, ten minutes to fifteen minute drive to Pine Knoll Shores and approximately a twenty minute drive to Emerald Isle, North Carolina and or Swansboro. This is a beautiful and thriving area with lots to do lots of things to do. Stay connected with WiFi, stay cool with window units AC, keep your clothes fresh with the washing machine and dryer, and a full kitchen. Enjoy all that Morehead City has to offer when you stay at Crab Pointe Cottage.

We were very pleased with this property. Charming is the right choice of words this property. The hosts truly thought of everything you may need and were immediately available if we needed anything. Clean neat cute and very comfortable. We will be back!

Washer/dryer and dishwasher available. For those not familiar with induction ranges, it would help if owner noted that only specific pots and pans work on those ranges, i.e. not every pot and pan in the cabinets.

our impressions

Facilities are good, if old, and not very carefully repainted, as many paint splashes hadn't been removed. Kitchen was also showing age, especially sinks and plumbing. It was well supplied, though, with linens, kitchen tools & flatware, etc. The yard was in need of upgrades, especially the driveway (broken pavement) and walk to front door (no pavement). Overall, it's OK.

This is a nice and convenient home that is very clean. The point of this home is it convenience, cleanliness, and spaciousness(both inside and out)! This rental is less expensive because it is an older property. You can’t find a hotel for this price. The yard is very large and has semicircle drive. It is surrounded by plants and trees. The kitchen is older as my grandfather built it and we recycled the materials. The stove in the kitchen is a Cafe smart stove and the refrigerator is also new, eco friendly, and makes ice, and there is a Bosch dishwasher. As for the drive My grandfather paved the drive. it is a very suitable driveway for your vehicle to sit, and pull in and out of. . I will post pictures once the guest have left.

All was well good coffee makers. rooms clean shower worked well. needs some gravel in driveway. black dark mud we were in tropical storm lots of rain however, front walkway needs needs some gravel also. Very dangerous curve to pull in out of driveway to house. but the owner open and honest about this told up front. picked up limbs after storm for property owner. could not get den tv working . acess code wrong. told management no replies left in ditch.everone had watch tv in master bedroom. no local news channel.

I was emailed about the internet password and emailed back within 2 hours with the access code for the internet(which we were experiencing the same storm at that time)! This email is in the VRBO APP. VRBO never contacted us with a complaint. My phone number is listed and had someone called or texted we could have come to show you how to work the television works! I will include instructions for the next folks. We will put new gravel In the front walk way! The local news channel is in the spectrum app. We pay $25 a month for all 3 local broadcasting channels. There is also Netflix, and Amazon prime that you can log into your own accounts. If you take your time pulling out of the drive it is safe. The house is on a bend in the road!

Crab Pointe Cottage is our family home for three generations now. It is a very relaxing home with large porches, a porch swing, gas fire pit outside and a very large yard with beautiful old oak trees, magnolia trees, and a muscadine grape vine that belonged to my grandparents.
