The host was very friendly and helpful. However, the bathroom was VERY small. It was situated under the stairwell. I'm 5'3" at 117 lbs. and the shower stall was so small that I could not bend down to wash my feet. My husband is about 240. He had a much harder time. The bathroom must have been a camper size corner sink. It was so small we would bump our heads bending over to spit while brushing our teeth. The mattress was so soft that I kept rolling to the middle. but I understand that could be a personal preference. If the bathroom were enlarged and the mattress replaced it would be definitely a 5 star stay. The place is beautiful.
My husband and I went up for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We got up there after sunset but the house was ready for us. The lights were turned on and everything was clean. The drive up we saw so much wildlife. We watched the sun come up and enjoyed the quiet. If you’re looking to get away from the world but close enough to town this is more than perfect. The owners live on the property and happen to be some of the sweetest people. If you were to rent out the whole property then I recommend this for children but since there is another house to rent out i suggest older children/young adults, To keep the noise down. We are already looking forward to our next stay there.
