Good house if you have kids

The house has a lot of room for the kids to play without worry about breaking anything. The deck is big but needs a good cleaning and it has a fence to keep you falling into the river. The yard is also fenced which is really needed sense it’s right by a busy neighborhood Road.

Nice water front home

This was a charming house we liked the area and it was very clean , I would suggest moving the king bed from under the skylight it wakes you up at daybreak shinning right down on you . The other bed room was bright as well even with room shades . Other than that I would stay here again

Neat older house in a not-so-neat location

The hosts have done a good job of making this unique property a vacation rental worth trying out. The pros: very clean, unique house with a cool vibe, pool table, 12' ceilings, nice furnishings. The cons: some parts of the house need repairs but didn't really affect our stay, there's not a great choice of kitchenware for cooking, there's not an on suite for either bedroom, parking is limited, and it's right in the middle of an older commercial area so noise from vehicles and trains can make it tough to sleep.

Overall we had a really great time. The view was amazing and quite peaceful to look at. The only bad thing about it was all the road noise. Especially at night when you are trying to sleep. The road is RIGHT BY the bedroom windows so you can hear every vehicle that goes up and down the road. From the second night on , I wore ear plugs and couldn’t hear it. So if road noise bothers you, come prepared with plugs. Also, upon arrival, I always bring my own wipes to wipe things down myself. And it’s a good thing I did. The door knobs and light switches were awfully dirty. As well as some of the most used door fronts. I let’s the owners know and they offered to come by and clean them but I told them no since I had already done it. But there was great communication which was very much appreciated. And the pool table was a nice touch. We enjoyed playing that a lot. It also was only about 15 mins from the casino which was why we came. Not a bad drive at all. I would definitely stay again.
