Luxury and Convenience ... Ski in-Ski out Condo in the Heart of Everything

Location, Location, Location. Slopeside 38 is located in the heart of the Smugglers' Notch Resort in the Village East Community at the base of Morse Mountain right next to the Village Lift and in the middle of all village facilities.

This unit is literally on the main village slope only 25 yards from the Village Chair Lift entrance and provides true ski in-ski out accommodations. Slopeside also offers a totally separate ski-room for you to put on and remove your ski and snow board equipment in comfort. Slopeside is also within walking distance of everything the resort has to offer. The Welcome Center, Mountain Grill, Meeting House, Country Store, and Hearth and Candle Restaurant are a two minute walk across The Green. Camps for younger children meet only steps from your front door. So park your car and forget about it.

Inside, this fully air conditioned 2BR/2BA professionally decorated condo is equipped with all the conveniences and comfort you expect in your home away from home. After a full day of skiing, bake a fresh batch of brownies and relax together around the cozy fireplace, or retreat to your own space with Smart TVs in every room. HDMI outlets are also easily accessible if you wish to BYO Fire Stick). Stay in touch with the office, or surf the net with Wi-Fi throughout. In the winter, you can watch as skiers and riders glide by as they head toward the Village Center. In the Summer, eat breakfast on your deck while watching your children play with a bird's eye view of 'The Green,' the center of summer activity.

Breakfast counter with stools. Dining area- Dining table with 6 chairs. Living area- Queen sleeper sofa, Love seat, 63" Smart TV, Bose sound dock, gas fireplace, Bedroom I- Queen Bed, 43" Smart TV and mini-fridge with its own full bath. Bedroom II- 3 twin beds plus a trundle, 43" Smart TV, second full bathroom. In unit washer/dryer.


Rates as shown plus $250.00 per stay cleaning fee and $99.00 damage insurance.

Local activities include: Zip line Canopy Tour, snow mobile rentals, dog sledding, sledding, spa services and more.

Take a day trip to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory or the Cold Hollow Cider Mill.

Craig was extremely welcoming, the condo was cozy and couldn’t be better set up for a family with young children. My husband and I were able to easily take turns skiing, and having the little learning park for our 3 yr old right outside the door was so convenient. Also, such close proximity to the waffle cabin was fun for all!

The location of this condo could not have been better! With an infant in treasures and 3 and 4 year old kids in ski school, getting everyone where they needed to be was easy!

Great stay at Smuggs!

This was our second time staying at Craig’s condo with young children, and both times, it was fantastic! The location is unbeatable - ski right down to the village lift, and a short walk to the Treasures daycare, where our youngest was! Craig was extremely responsive and checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. We hope to be back in the future!

Amazing location in the center of everything. The kids loved being able to walk to the funzone, lodge or lifts, all right there. We were also impressed with all the non-skiing activities at Smuggs in the winter, tubing, skating, Family Phew’d were all great.

Awesome Trip!

Owner very easy and responsive. Unit had everything needed for a comfortable & fun stay. Easily fit a family of 6 and proximity to the lift made skiing with 4 kids as easy as possible. All around great stay!

We stayed here for a week over New Year’s with our family of 6 and had a great experience. All 4of our boys were enrolled in Smuggs’ excellent ski school, and the location could not have been more convenient—just steps from the village center and ski school drop-off/pickup—which made mornings incredibly easy.The condo was very clean, well maintained, and cozy, with everything in perfect working order. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything needed for a full week family stay. One standout feature was the semi-private ski room with a locker directly connected to the condo—extremely convenient for gear storage and easy transitions to the slopes. Parking was also close and easy. The host was excellent to work with—communication was clear, timely, and responsive before and during our stay. Smuggs’ onsite market was helpful for quick items, though for larger grocery runs Shaw’s or Hannaford offer more variety and are about 40 minutes away in winter when the direct road is closed. If you plan to dine out, it’s worth calling ahead, as many on-site and nearby restaurants had limited hours during our stay. The Siberian sled dog experience at Smuggs was a highlight for our family and highly recommended. Lot 6 Brewery was also very good and open most nights (check hours in advance). Overall, it's a fantastic, comfortable, and extremely convenient condo for a family ski trip. We felt cozy and had a great opportunity to ski and spend quality time together after a busy holiday.

Our second stay here was just a good as our first. The close location to the ski lift and village makes this place very convenient. Craig is an awesome host, responding to questions within minutes. Couldn't be happier with this place, plan to return again.

Best location at Smuggs

This place has just about the best location of any rental I've found at Smuggs. Roll out of bed, drop off the kids and ski school, and hit the lift! Good communication from the host as well.

Cozy Mountain Condo

This Condo was wonderful and complimented our ski vacation. It was cozy, spacious and very clean. We all were able to watch movies at night comfortably at a family of five or blame card games. Perfect ski in and out and easy walk to the village. The host is extremely helpful and check in was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the condo was quiet. Highly recommend a stay.

Excellent trip!

This was the first time we stayed in Craig’s condo and we would love for it to be the first of many times. We absolutely loved it. I don’t think you could get a better location and the kids, aged 5 to 13, all wanted to stay longer. We love Smuggs. And Craig could not be more kind, patient, or accommodating. Excellent host.

Location and fun

Can't beat the location. Kids in ski school, kids forgot something, quick lunch, or bathroom break? All within a minute walk from the ski school drop-off by the Village lift. Also, just a quick walk to store or shuttle to the top. Didn't need to touch the car for a week. Place was clean and had everything we needed.Owner communicated early and often and made sure everything was in order and asked if there was anything we needed during the week. 10/10, would definitely rent again.

Amazing time!

Our stay was perfect, even though the weather wasn’t. The condo was spacious, extremely clean, and had everything my family and I needed. The host even made sure everything with check in was smooth and was able to give us a heads up on a special fireworks show upon arrival, which my kids throughly enjoyed. Would recommend over and over again!

Another great stay at Smuggs!

We enjoyed a long weekend at this Slopeside condo. We have stayed here at least 3 times and love it more each time we go. We have stayed at several Smuggs condos, and the Slopeside location is our favorite -- close to the lifts and the shops/restaurants, allowing our teens more independence and ourselves more peace & quiet.The condo itself is clean and homey with beautiful views of the ski slopes. It has everything you would need -- we bring groceries and eat lunch and several dinners at the condo which saves a ton of . The kitchen has everything we need -- I smiled when I even found a "chip clip" for our bag of tortilla chips! :-) The wifi works great as does the smart TV, allowing us to watch almost anything we want.Given the frigid temperatures last weekend, it was important to have an inviting and warm space to retreat to easily. We are looking forward to next time!

Great stay at Smuggs

Located right at the base of the Village lift, the location of this condo is perfect. Very convenient for stopping for lunch or a quick bathroom break for the kiddos. We parked right out front, and were greeted to an exceptionally clean condo, exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well equipped for easy breakfast and dinner prep when not eating at the resort restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and plenty large for our family of 4. We asked to extend our reservation due to a storm, which Craig was able to accommodate. He was easy to contact and got back to us right away. Smuggler's Notch was one of our best ski vacations yet. Great terrain, friendly people, lots of activities available for those who don't ski. We will be back.

Perfect ski condo

It is impossible to overstate how happy we were with our stay at Slopeside on Smugglers Notch. For context, we are a family of five (kids are between 11 and 16) and this was our first time at Smuggs. The condo itself is one of the best situated on the property. True ski on/off, as the Village Lift is a stone's throw from the rear deck. For those new to Smuggs, the Village Lift services Morse Mountain, from which Madonna and Sterling are accessible from the Midway trail. We skied, hopped back in to the condo for lunch, and skied some more each day. Perfect. In addition, the owners were wonderful in terms of providing information and being accessible if necessary. The condo is stocked with anything you may need in the kitchen, and the living areas are very comfortable for relaxing at night by the fire. 2 bedrooms/bathrooms easily worked for our family, as the 2nd bedroom has three twin beds. For the nights we ate out, Hearth and Candle was a favorite (1 minute walk to the Village), as was Village Tavern which is a 10 minute drive. Loved the mountain itself. We typically find ourselves in southern VT, so this was a new experience. Tons of terrain for any ability, phenomenal views, and no crowds on the trails even during a holiday week. We often found we had trails to ourselves - a testament to the strategy of avoiding having high speed/occupancy lifts. Lift lines moved right along. My kids found a new favorite ski mountain. All in, a great experience and we give this property our absolute highest recommendation.
