We had stayed at this unit before, about three years ago. At that time, we didn’t book it through VRBO. I can definitely say that the unit has had a very nice “refresh”, ie;new furniture, decor, etc. However, the keyless entry was a nightmare! One day it worked and the next day it didn’t. Every time we went out, we wondered if we would be able to get back in without having to call the host. I will say the host was always available to help but it was just very frustrating. Other issues were minor…the Keurig coffee maker didn’t work properly and the stove light didn’t work. The host offered to fix both issues, but we didn’t deem it necessary for our stay. Overall, the host was very accommodating. The unit is great if you have dogs, as it’s on the bottom floor with easy access to take them out. I just wish all owners picked up after their dogs, as we did! The Maggie Valley Country Club is a very nice area.
