1st floor overlooking the pool and Gulf. Nice covered patio with ample seating to relax and enjoy the view. Convenient walking distance to Pier Park for restaurants and shopping.

A good, budget-friendly option at a nice resort with a prime location. The room wasn’t perfect but was pretty clean, a good size, and a prime location. We would stay here again.

Everything was clean and the workers were so kind. Loved the girls at the tiki bar they helped so much giving us fun ideas of things to do. Checking on our parking pass we had the sweetest young man help us and was so informative. Over all our favorite place in Florida so far! We will be back!

The property is very outdated. Cleaning crew does not do a great job. I have been staying at Calypso 4 times before and this unit is the worst I ever got. The location is very nice though. I like 1st floor it saves plenty of time.

The place appeared to not have been cleaned. Ice still in the ice maker, floors had hair, dirt and sand (sand to be expected) dishwasher did not work. I slept in the bottom bunk in the hallway. When I pulled the covers back there was a blue/yellow spot on the comforter and the sheet had what appeared to be candy or gum stuck to it. The view was great however you have to park across the street on a certain level to then obtain a luggage cart and walk it through the skywalk to get to your room. For the amount of money we paid it was not worth it. I would not stay here again.

The tv’s did not work.The A/C would not hold the set temperature. I would set the AC to 70 when we went to bed, get up in the morning and its 65 had to change it over to heat to warm it back up to 70 and it would go up to 78 it would not hold. EVERY DAY. The place was nice but the floors very dirty. The first morning when I got up walking around barefoot making coffee then when I went to take a shower, I’ll look down at my feet and it’s like I’ve been walking in mud all day. The floors are so very dirty..One of the biggest issues there was no instructions on how to operate anything that was there coffee pot anything TV nothing how to reach channels didn’t matter TV wouldn’t gonna do anything but going to ONE channel.We were dealing with a management group apparently not the owners that makes it very uncomfortable because they don’t really care and Owner would care. I’ve used the same thing in the same city for many years ago. I no longer live In Panama City but we live there for many years and we use VRBO.

Friendly front desk staff and helpful maintenance

I wished the balcony walked out to the pool. Would have been a great feature. Was a perfect location to pier park. Maintenance was needed and super helpful and friendly as well as the front desk staff esp the guy with the dreads. We wished there were better rules about small pool toys for the kids like one pool can have them and one pool cannot etc.

Great location and walking distance to many shops and restaurants at Pier Park. We had a few maintenance issues and they addressed most of the issues but I don’t want to go on vacation and constantly have to call about it.1. Ceiling fan in bedroom did not work but the light on fan did. Maintenance came and replaced the fan after 2 days. 2. Light above stovetop was burnt out. Maintenance came to replace light bulbs but it was broke so she had to call someone to fix. It was never resolved. 3. Air conditioning was faulty. It was either too hot or too cold and maintenance advised me to trip the breaker. 4. Light outside entrance to our specific condo is burnt out. If you arrive at night it makes it difficult to see the pin pad to enter condo. Had to use phone flashlight. They also advised me that HOA takes care of that not them. 5. King size bed did not have a mattress protector but bunk beds did. I called to advise and they came and brought it to me. 6. We had an ironing board but no iron. Had to call and they brought it to me. 7. Dishwasher does not do a good job in washing coffee cups. After wash, cups still had coffee stains. Forgot to report this issue. Not sure if we were the first guests for the spring break season but I imagine all of these issues should have been addressed prior to guest arriving.I had stayed at many hotels, VRBOs etc and have never had this many issues at the same time.
