Great beach getaway

The property offers a nice short walk to the beach on a sidewalk to boardwalk. The property itself is very outdated and dusty. I appreciated the great communication with Kelly.

Needs Updating and a good cleaning

We expected small, but it was very dated. There were new cabinets but were inoperable or just didn’t fit. The bathroom was just ick. Mold around the tub, lots of dust and dirt near the vents and watermarks and toothpaste on the walls. Too much stuff in the ONLY closet for us to use. Not a sharp knife to be found in the kitchen. The dryer took over 5 hours to dry half a load of clothes. Did I mention dated? The location was nice and easy access to the beach, so not a total loss.

Does the job

Overall the stay served its purpose. We did not spend much time inside, so it was fine. CONS: If you are a family who plans to stay inside then I would suggest otherwise, especially if you have a crawling age child. The flooring in the living room is “hardwood planked” over the existing tile so it’s all separating and coming up & apart. You wouldn’t be able to really clean the floors with the big gaps and how much it is lifting up.The living room rug also has seen better days and is matted and overall not clean. I even vacuumed it myself but it just has been used and abused. There was ONE singular cockroach, not a wood roach, but the small one. I never saw anymore the rest of the stay. PROS: check in process was seamless, pools are nice, ice vending machine on property so you don’t ever have to leave to get ice, easy beach access, and located near/around everything. Yes it’s slightly outdated furniture wise, but again serves its purpose. Couch bed is actually comfy. We did use the washer/dryer before leaving so we didn’t have to wash laundry when getting back home & it works perfectly. You do not get the bells and whistles of netflix ect ect, but you will have Dish in both rooms.
