I was in town for the Auburn/Baylor football game, and this property was perfect for my weekend stay. It’s a lovely well appointed home in a quiet neighborhood, yet is close to everything Atlanta has to offer. Communication with the host was wonderful, and check in/check out was a breeze.
This hidden gem around midtown Atlanta fully lives up to the description! Privately situated in the back of the property with new appliances and comfortable beds, the location is great for heading in and out of downtown, too. Our host was very welcoming, too. A
This was my second time staying here and it will continue to be my choice when visiting. The house is perfect, and is in a wonderful location that is quiet and great for walking.
Wonderful experience, host was great to communicate with. Had zero issues with this stay, only concern was pulling into the drive, if you had a dually I don’t know you’d clear the gate. Would not recommend attempting to pull in a trailer.
This was the perfect place for my husband and I while we visited our daughter for the holiday. Very nicely appointed and great use of space. We were comfortable and will definitely stay again.
The house was beautiful and in a great location. It was clean and had everything we needed. There are two separate houses on the property, and there was plenty of privacy and parking. I would recommend it and stay there again.
The host - Peter was very friendly and welcoming. The property was clean - super cute and very comfortable. The location couldNot have been better. The description of the property is spot on as you feel like you are hidden away in a tree lined peaceful setting when in reality you are close to everything Atlanta has to offer. If my travels take me back to Atlanta I would love to stay here again.
Good location..our dog loved the yard. You not feel like you were even in metro because of all the trees. The home has a very cozy feel.Nice area to walk our dog too.
We had a lovely stay. Tucked away but close to lots of restaurants and stores. Quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was espeially nice! The host was very responsive and kind. 10/10 would love to come back if we are in the area again.
Beautifully renovated guest house! Stephen has provided everything you need. Very responsive host. The home is private and peaceful, set at the back of the property. Comfortable king bed with great pillows and bedding. I was on my own this trip but perfectly pet friendly home and yard.
Absolutely lovely new cottage. Perfect for friends and family getaways with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, plus a sofa large enough for sleeping. Kitchen is fully equipped and well stocked. Washer and dryer in the unit. Host was super available and check-in/out was a breeze. Highly recommend!
Such a gem of a stay! The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms up to date and clean. It had a relaxed, comfortable vibe that made it easy to feel at home right away. The neighborhood was super cool—walkable, artsy, and close to everything in Little Five Points—but still private and peaceful when you wanted downtime. Communication with the owner was excellent—friendly, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they really care about their guests. I felt safe, comfortable, and entirely at ease here. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town!
We stayed at the Inner City Hideout during a Labor Day trip to Dragon Con with our teenage grandson. This is the perfect location if you are looking to get away from the hustle of the city but still only a few minutes drive to downtown without even getting on the interstate. Quiet neighborhood with sidewalks and friendly neighbors. Very comfortable and modern decor throughout. It is a cottage tucked behind another house but other than the shared driveway you wouldn’t know it. It is set way back on the property and has a cozy cottage feel. Would definitely stay here again. Sean’s Candler Park is a must for coffee and breakfast and is a quick 10 minute walk.
Horrible stay. Hosts were rude, inconsiderate, and insensitive. The place was infested with roaches and ants. Ants were biting me as I worked and slept. I have videos of ants crawling in the bed and biting me in the middle of the night.Ants were in my suitcase, crawling on the bed, & in every part of the home. There is a couch cover on the couch. When I pulled it back there were dead roaches and bugs. These weren’t inside the coach. They were on the top of the coach, right in the middle. When I asked to leave and be refunded the host sweet talked me into staying and promised to come the next day. However, she never showed up. She did attempt to come once at MIDNIGHT. Obviously midnight isn’t an appropriate hour. Why wasn’t the house cleaned before I arrived? It was evident that the home hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest left. They also never cleaned the couch or else dead bugs/roaches wouldn’t have been there. They tried to blame the reason on the trees outside. However, if you’re aware that the house is near trees, why don’t you exterminate regularly? The host didn’t ask to come until a day before the reservation was over. They wanted to come in the morning when i specifically told them that I would be asleep due to working late and spending hours on the phone with VRBO. I couldn’t sleep because ants were biting me in my sleep. I asked the host for some sort of compensation, not a full refund but they refused to do anything for the inconvenience.

We strongly disagree with this review, as it does not accurately reflect what occurred during this guest’s stay. Our property has never had an infestation of ants or roaches, and cleanliness is something we take very seriously.
As soon as the guest reported seeing ants, we immediately offered to have someone come to the property to inspect and treat the issue. The guest declined our initial attempt, rescheduled, and then canceled again, explaining that she worked overnight and was too tired to stay awake for pest control. Therefore, the statement that we “never showed up” is simply not true. We made multiple attempts to address her concern and were unable to do so because access was declined or canceled by the guest.
The guest also stated that our attempt to come at midnight was inappropriate; however, we were attempting to accommodate her unusual work schedule after she stated that daytime appointments were inconvenient for her.
Most importantly, when we were finally able to inspect the property after checkout, we found old food left throughout the home and windows left open. This included a piece of sausage that had been left directly beside a window with ants on and around it. Leaving food out and windows open can understandably attract insects, particularly in a home surrounded by trees. What we observed after checkout was not consistent with an infestation, and there had been no such issue reported by previous guests.
At no point were we rude or insensitive. We remained responsive and repeatedly offered a solution. The guest later requested compensation, which we declined because she had repeatedly declined or canceled our attempts to inspect and resolve the alleged issue during her stay.
We take legitimate guest concerns seriously and always make reasonable efforts to resolve them promptly. Unfortunately, we cannot correct an issue when we are repeatedly denied the opportunity to inspect it. We stand behind the cleanliness and maintenance of our property and strongly dispute the inaccurate characterization presented in this review.
The rooms were clean and the check-in was smooth, this is a great place to stay it’s also close to everything we wanted to do! If in Atlanta will would definitely stay again
