Villa Sierra Calderona is situated in the Natural Reserve "Sierra Calderona" on the edge of the village of Olocau. Within walking distance from the centre of the village.

The beautiful village of Olocau has shops, bars and restaurants where you can enjoy Spanish food and wonderful tapas. Located within easy reach of Valencia by car, the airport, the blue flag beaches and the hills of Sierra Calderona.

Casa Buena vista” has a well equipped kitchen with a laundry, 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a spacious lounge with an open fire. Various areas for outside dining, stunning views and around the pool there is plenty of space for sunbathing, and an outside shower.

There is an area below the house which is empty and not used. The swimming pool is private and can only be used by people staying in the property. The size of the pool is about 8x4 metres. There is parking space inside the property for up to 3 cars.

Perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The village of Olocau has beautiful setting surrounded by nature and many hiking trails and bicycle paths.

Marian and Mark were very welcoming, warm and informative hosts. The property was as described, airy and practical - perfect for a relaxing holiday with the lovely pool and a shaded outside dining area. The rooms were comfortable with ceiling fans which were much appreciated during the heatwave! The views from the villa are simply stunning and the hills were magical: several species of birds were regularly seen including booted eagles and flycatchersOlocau is a charming and friendly village and there are several very interesting nearby towns to visit, with a variety of restaurants to enjoy. The wine cellar and oil mill at Olocau Tourist Centre is a fascinating place to visit.

Fabulous holiday

We have had a fabulous week at the villa. Clean, comfortable, child friendly and an easy and enjoyable walk to the village. The pool is stunning, lots of loungers and chairs to make it very relaxing. Owners are super friendly and helpful. Wish all villa holidays were this good

Very spacious villa with great pool

Very beautiful house with 4 sleeping rooms each with 2 beds. Kids loved the great pool and table tennis! Kitchen well equipped and spacious. TV with Netflix available. Very nice host family. We very much enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this fantastic place.

Lovely Property

This was our second time at this property. The accommodation is spacious and clean with great facilities (swimming pool, table tennis, parking). The location is great: a short walk from a couple of bars and a bakery. And a 40 minute drive to the beaches and historic centre of Valencia. The hosts are very kind and provided ideas for places to visit and a lovely welcome pack. We had a great time.

Lovely villa for a family

This villa is in a quiet area of the village with no passing traffic. It is spacious, welcoming and well equipped with everything needed.Good indoor space and a large outdoor area with several areas of seating. Good space for outdoor dining (although could be a bit hot) The pool was just lovely and there was even a table tennis table. The villa has obviously been a very comfortable family home - always a good recommendation.

Blissful stay in comfortable villa

Lovely spacious villa, home from home, spotlessly clean and with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The area was perfect for us - quietly set among pine trees, with great views from the pool and terrace, walking distance from a very Spanish village with bakery, good butcher and a couple of bars/restaurants. Also just 40 minutes drive away from Valencia. Marian and Mark were very welcoming and helpful. Despite the August heatwave the villa did not get too hot - the ceiling fans kept us cool enough in the bedrooms. Overall a wonderful holiday that exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

Great Family Property

This was a great property for a family holiday. It is located in a lovely village, in the hills outside Valencia, with a bakery, butchers and a couple of bars. The property is superb with plenty of room, comfortable beds and good cooking facilities. By far the best thing about the house is the outside space, it is outstanding. The views are incredible, the pool was super and there was the bonus of a pingpong table. It wasn't a problem for us, but there are quite a few steps up to the property. The hosts were really helpful prior to arrival and for check-in. We didn't need to contact them when we were there but they were on the end of WhatsApp if needed.

Super séjour

Maria et sa famille nous ont parfaitement accueillis à notre arrivée à Olocau, et est restée très disponible tout le long du séjour. La villa est propre et bien située au calme dans les hauteurs du village, la grande piscine est bien entretenue 2 fois par semaine. Proche de Valence et de toutes commodités (grand supermarché à 15 min), Nous y avons passé 2 superbes semaines (5 amis). Nous recommandons la villa de Maria !

Les propriétaires sont des gens charmants. Les informations et l'accueil ont été très bons. La maison est située non loin du petit village d'Olocau. Parfait pour se détendre et être au calme. Voiture indispensable pour s'y rendre et visiter alentour (Valence n'est pas très loin, ville charmante). Il y a aussi de belles balades à faire,y compris en partant de la maison).

We had a lovely two weeks in Olocau. The villa was lovely, spacious and well equipped, with all day sun on the large pool. An additional highlight was the spectacular bread each morning from the local bakers.

Jeder Zeit wieder!

Wir waren begeistert von allem! Die Gastgeber waren sehr gut erreichbar und haben uns super nett empfangen und alles gezeigt und erklärt. Das Haus liegt in einer traumhaften Landschaft, sehr ruhig und die Landschaft lädt zu schönen Wanderungen und Ausflügen ein. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen!

Fijn verblijf in Olocau

Fijn huis met zwembad waar je vrijwel de hele dag wordt getrakteerd op het prachtige gezang van krekels. Het huis is geschikt voor maar liefst 8 personen (4 slaapkamers) en een ruime woonkamer met televisie. Maar waarschijnlijk zul je de meeste tijd buiten doorbrengen (ruim terras met grote eettafel aan de voorkant, or rondom het zwembad). Het rustige dorpje Olocau is op loopafstand. Daar kun je in de ochtend vers brood en andere lekkernijen bij de bakker halen. Valencia met als zijn vertier is op 30 minuten rijden. Ook de moeite waard: een boottocht in het meer rondom de rijstvelden en ter plekke paella eten in El Palmar. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijke mensen!

Han sido unos días geniales. La casa estaba muy bien, teníamos de todo. La piscina, la mesa de ping-pong, el porche...Todo perfecto en una casa muy cómoda. Los anfitriones eran muy majos y nos lo pusieron todo muy fácil. Sin duda un lugar ideal para ir de vacaciones.
