Swimming hole at brook on property. Fire pit, propane BBQ, picnic table. Front & back porches w/ hammock, table & chairs. VCR/DVD & videos, boardgames & puzzles, kids toys, turntable & records, Satellite Internet & WiFi 20-100 mbps, TV & Roku. Gas heat, wood stove, pellet stove. Dog friendly (sorry, no cats due to allergies).

This charming country chalet has a spectacular views of Stratton mountain. There is a mountain brook with a swimming hole located on the property.
House amenities include:
• Two-minute walk to swimming hole on property
• Two bedrooms on the second floor, a master bedroom on the first floor and two full baths (one on each floor)
• Fully furnished, sleeps 5 (3 full size beds and 2 single beds in the bedrooms and 2 couches in the living room)
• Gas heat, a wood burning stove, and a pellet stove
• TV/VCR, CD player and turntable (with lots of vinyl records)
• Starlink Satellite Internet and Wifi
• Lots of games, puzzles, videos and books for children, plus an assortment of board games for adults
• Full kitchen, spacious front porch.

Hi, I'm Jason. Me and my wife Sara split time between our home in Brooklyn, NY and Jamaica, VT. I've been hosting for over 20 years and love sharing a special part of southern Vermont with guests. I also run a non-profit organization called Toilets for People which makes composting toilets and trains people in developing countries how to make them using local materials and labor. Hosting guests at my cabins on VRBO helps to support these efforts. Thank you!

Off a quiet country dirt road, tucked into the forest with a babbling brook on the property. Private and remote but close to Stratton Mountain resort.
What makes this property unique
It feels a world away from day to day stress, yet close to the action at Stratton. The simplicity of listening to vinyl records, watching VHS and sitting around a fire and looking up at the stars.
