About the host

We're relatively new to country life and we love it! After raising our children in the DFW metroplex, we wanted a quieter life in the country. We have loved hosting family and friends from around the world and enjoy meeting new people.
Why they chose this property
We bought the land several years ago and gradually cleared it before moving the cottage from Fort Worth to its current location. We spent weekends restoring it to its (mostly) original condition, including keeping its old quirks. When the cottage was complete, we moved into it and lived there while we built our main house. We feel truly blessed to be here.
What makes this property unique
Guests have access to fresh eggs from our chickens (when they are laying 🤷♀️), a pond for catch and release fishing and plenty of room to roam outside,
