We are 5-10 minute drive to historic Brandywine Valley with open spaces, running trails & scenic views, antique shops & restaurants. Renowned museums such as Winterthur and Longwood Gardens are 15 minutes away. All Philadelphia has to offer is at your fingertips.

This is a 3200 Sq. Ft. Home with Gourmet Kitchen, 4 BR, DR, LR, Office, FR, and basement on a 2-acre lot. Remodeled. All linens included.

1st Floor provides guests with a huge gourmet kitchen with all the cooking essentials. Family room with 65" flat tv, and pull-out sofa, Dining room, laundry room, powder room and an office with 2 workstations are also on the first floor.

You will have access to 4 private bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. A King master suite remodeled 2021 awaits you on the 2nd floor. Also, three additional bedrooms and a full bath with tub are located on the 2nd floor. Bed sizes are 1 King, 2 Queens, 1 Twins sleeping a total of 7. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the family room sleeping 2. In the finished basement there is a common area with darts and lots of games and another full bath.

Outdoors you will find a private swimming pool with diving board and slide. Off to the side is a 7 seat hot tub under the moonlight. On the deck seating for several people with a grill and Blackstone as well as a large sectional sofa with propane fire pit for those quite nights under the stars. Out front of the home is a basketball net with night lighting if needed, a mini zip-line, tree swing and several rocking chairs to sit and relax, watch the wildlife in the woods and the wild kids run around making memories.

This is one of the best places we've stayed. The communication with the owner was outstanding. The house was in a great neighborhood and had the BEST stocked kitchen. Tea and coffee lovers delight, too. Hot tub was super clean and ready to go. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to host a family gathering.

Our family had a wedding to put on at Kings Mills. This location was perfect, and this ”large family home” was perfect for our family flying in from different parts of the country. Jeneene is a wonderful host and extremely helpful. The Wi-Fi is fast. The house and yard have multiple areas to hang out in. There are bedrooms/sleeping areas for all. The dining table can seat 10 and the kitchen has everything you need. The home is kid friendly with toys and games which we enjoyed during our stay. Don't forget your swim suits as there is a pool and hot tub to enjoy as well.

Awesome house and yard!

Gourmet kitchen for cooking meals for our family gathering. The back deck was great and the hot tub was awesome too. Clean and comfortable. Everyone loved the house.

Great meeting place between NYC and DC

We had a wonderful family get-together for our grown children spread out from NYC and DC. The house was great for 8 adults with a wonderful kitchen, great living room and plenty of outdoor space. Our October weekend was not swimming weather, but the hot tub was wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed for family meals in between visits to Longwood Gardens, Winterthur and we were thrilled to discover Va La Winery. It was definitely a splurge but it was perfect for our 27, 28 and 31 year olds and their significant others. Janine was very helpful with local restaurant recommendations and a surprise of seasonal treats upon arrival. We also preordered groceries for pickup at Shop Rite in Wilmington on the way back from Winterthur. Last, but not least, Newlin Grist Mill Park provided a great little hike (not that Longwood and Winterthur don't require plenty of walking!) My husband said it was his best "Thanksgiving" great family time and lots of good food (and lots of wine with no one needing to drive home at night!)

Fun for the whole family!

We just finished up a week at this lovely home. It was by far one of the best family vacations we’ve had so far! The house is perfect for grandparents, parents, kids of any age. The pool was really fun to hang out in all day, the deck is perfect for snacks/dinners, and the kitchen was well-stocked which makes cooking all that much more fun. Very convenient location too, plenty of grocery/food options within 10 min. The owner made a point of checking in with us throughout our stay and added extra little touches for our kids to get excited about. Such a great place to stay, highly recommend!

Clean!!! I am so OCD and I felt so comfortable in this home! It was lovely. Decorated beautifully, private backyard, quiet neighborhood. We stayed at the house all weekend and had a great time in the pool with our kids. 😊 highly recommend!

Family getaway

My siblings & and I, along with our children stayed at Jeenene's house for 3 nights. Her home was so beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. We spent entire days in the pool and enjoying the grounds of the home. Janeene was an amazing host. She was very responsive and attentive. Only hiccup being that the basement was unusable due to flooding from a storm they had the night before we arrived so the indoor space was a little tight. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. Thanks Jeenene!

Perfect escape from the city!

We had the most wonderful stay at Jeneene’s beautiful house. The photos don’t do it justice - there is so much space, inside and out, and all kept to a very high standard. Our daughters adored the pool and roaming around the large garden; we particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Jeneene was incredibly accommodating, easy to communicate with, and went to real effort to leave personal touches, such as pool toys and play dough for our children. The perfect place for a socially-distant friendly break after months of city lockdown - thank you Jeneene!

This property is a real treat. I have lived here for many years with my family and have continued to make it an oasis for them. We now want to share it with others. We have spent hours in the fine details of making it fun and adventurous for kids and adults alike. We have just added a new Hot Tube this season so be the firsts to use it! We hope you enjoy it.

What makes this property unique

It feels like home just without the to do list. Sipping your favorite beverage while rocking on the rocking chairs watching the kids zip-line, play basketball or explore the woods is just amazing. You can make them feel like you are with them while you are being recharged at the same time. Winding down in the hot tub under the stars listening to the night time noises without the hustle and bustle is true relaxation. Enjoy your favorite foods from all the areas restaurants and big chains without realizing they are nearby. It is truly an oasis.
