Casa Rhonda - beautiful detached villa sleeps up to 7 people, with private pool backing onto natural park and views in very peaceful location with gardens and terraces surrounding the house. Within a mile of small supermarket and 10 minute drive to Mt Clerigo and Arrifana beaches. 30 mins to Lagos.

1 double bedroom, 2 twin bed rooms and fold out child/teenage bed.

The villa has rental licence.

Very well appointed with kitchen with all appliances, outside sun loungers, garden furniture and BBQ. Table Tennis table, 5 bicycles, free good speed fibre Wi-fi, Smart TV, DVD, video, CD and radio. Books, CD's & DVD's. 4 tennis racquets and pass to local tennis courts, Lagos is 1/2 hour by car and Faro airport 1 1/2 hours. Tennis, walking, bird watching, horse riding and surfing can be found locally. Aljezur is just 10 minute drive for large supermarket, shops and restaurants.

Outside: Sun terraces to three sides, patio area leading onto swimming pool with steps and shallow and deep end, further sun lounging area, BBQ. There are ample sun beds, chairs and tables and outside dining tables, parasols. Private swimming pool 8m x 4m. Large cool boxes and beach umbrella and beach towels provided for beach use. Table Tennis table.

All baby/toddler needs, travel cot, high chair. Toys and ball pit.

Fantastic villa!

This villa has everything you could wish for, including often missing items such as beach towels and umbrella, lots of games, books, lovely pool. It it also very private, you are not overlooked at all and it is very quiet with woods and birds around...peaceful.

Quiet, functional and wonderful place to rest

We went with our baby and a couple with their teenage daughter who brought a friend and because I spent some time at home with the baby it was perfect to have a swimming pool with no neighbors around. The barbecue is also really nice to cook.outside and enjoy the nights. Tracie is really nice and made us feel at home.

Fantastic place in vale de Thale. House is well located with a fantastic view on the country side in front of the pool. Place is quiet and house well equipped ! Tracie is always available for any support! I can only recommend Best Johannès and his family

Nice place, but with some problems

Pros - Everything related with the booking process and check-in/check-out was very easy. - The isolation and location of the property was a nice thing. - Also, there were lots of things to do inside of the house: swimming pool, ping pong table, bikes, etc. - The bottle of wine was a nice touch. Cons - There were a lot of cleaning problems in the place: hair in the bathtubs (the drain was clogged) and rugs, dirt on the living room, spider webs in most corners. In the kitchen, the microwave and hoven were not clean. - If you want to do some cleaning you’ll have some problems as some of the cleaning materials that were provided need a replacement, mainly the mop - The internet connection was very limited and slow. - This is not a problem with the place itself, but be prepared because there are a lot of mosquitoes, day and night Overall: It was a nice stay. The isolation and swimming pool are a plus, and the closeness to the beaches, but also to the supermarket and restaurants, is a nice thing. The main issue for us was the price/quality of the stay (over 2k for one week), particularly looking at the cleaning and the quality of the equipment.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at the villa and the booking process went through smoothly. We are disappointed to only learn afterwards that the cleaning was not up to our usual standards, as we would have had the cleaners return to the property the next day. We have taken this up with the cleaning team as this seems to have been an isolated incident which we're keen to investigate. As you will see from previous reviews, it is not an issue we have had before - we are so sorry this has happened. Regarding mosquitos , all windows have shutters with mosquito screens and there are plugs and nets available in all bedrooms for over the beds if required. Thanks again for your feedback.

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in der Casa Rhonda. Alles hat dem so entsprochen, wie zuvor in der Beschreibung angegeben war. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Pool war in Topzustand und war bis 2,40m tief. Man musste am Ende des Aufenthalts nicht einmal das Haus reinigen, da die Endreinigung im Preis inbegriffen war! Lediglich neue Wäsche gab es über die Zeit hinweg, wo wir da waren (2 Wochen), keine neue. Dafür steht eine Waschmaschine zur Verfügung. Alles in allem kann ich die Villa uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Ein lauschiges Plätzchen, um Urlaub zu machen

Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem wichtigen ausgestattet. Wir haben den Pool sehr genossen. Leider (🤔) war es nicht kalt genug, um den schönen Ofen anzumachen. Und trotz der vielen Mücken ist es ein wundervoller Ort, um ein paar schöne Tage zu verbringen.

Maison bien placée et plutôt confortable mais nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine qui était verte en milieu de semaine et n'a pas été traitée correctement. Dommage car la présence d'une piscine augmente le prix de la location et nous n'avons pas pu en profiter longtemps... certaines poeles sont à changer car non utilisables sur les plaques induction. Le personnel présent au départ était très agréable

Great holiday at Casa Rhonda. Villa was in a perfect location - quiet, rural but close enough to amazing surf beaches & cool little restaurants. La casa era comoda, y con buena ubicacion pero mejoraria mucho si los muebles y cuartos de baños fuesen renovados. Los sofas eran muy viejos asi como el mobiliario exterior, toallas y menaje de cocina. La casa estaba limpia y era amplia- lo mejor, el jardin.
